  • Slime Thru-Core™ Tire Sealant seeks out and instantly seals tread area punctures up to 1/4″ in diameter. There is no need to remove the valve core. Slime’s Thru-Core Technology™ seamlessly injects the new sealant formula through the valve stem directly into the tire. Then just air up your tire with a Slime inflator or an air source of your choice to get back on the road quickly. Slime Thru-Core™ Tire sealant is non-toxic, non-corrosive and tire sensor safe. This new easy install formula is tested and approved by leading automakers and cleans up easy with water.

    I just used this product on Saturday. I had a flat tire after arriving at a restaurant for dinner. I filled it up with my compressor only to have it flat again by the time I came out. My friend decided to take me to the nearest auto shop and I bought this. I followed the instructions and the flat was repaired. I even drove it for about 30-40 miles before I could finally have the tire repaired. Thanks slime.

    Found this video after reading the directions, properly attempting to use it, and most of the product never coming out of the goddamn can and my tire still leaks. Still feels like a full can it won't come out of the goddamn can with! Also unlike them faking you out that it's the green stuff they sell in pictures and videos, it's not. The thru-core is actually thin runny white crap just like fix a flat that doesn't work worth a damn. That is from the little bit of it that came out that can and dribbled down the valve stem. Them giving the impression that it's the green product they're selling in the can is straight up false advertising.

    seeing all the comments about a tire wobble after use, is it difficult to remove after getting a repair done or does it go away after a tire balancing?

    • @chris210racer
      @chris210racer 3 года назад +2

      Shouldn’t, it’s a sealant meant for emergency use. After sealing a puncture, you’re expected to drive to the nearest mechanic/auto part store/tire shop and get a new tire. If you’re worried about your rims, they should be fine too since the sealant can be cleaned up with a wet rag according to this video, and the slime itself will cling to the inner walls of the tire itself rather than the rims due to that 0.2 mile drive need to distribute the slime to the puncture(s) in the tire.
      I only say this based on the video, my one experience using the stuff on my bicycle as a kid, stuff I picked about physics and cars when I was still in engineering school, and briefly reading through comments and reviews about the product. Though it appears that it’s better utilized on smaller vehicles like bikes and tractors rather than cars, and that using a traditional puncture repair kit may be a more reliable method of emergency repair.

    • @johno9507
      @johno9507 4 года назад +3

      Let me guess, you tried using it on a fully inflated tyre instead of a flat?
      The tyre pressure will work against the pressure in the can and prevent any slime getting into your tyre.
