The flowers are mostly used in temples and churches as offerings to god. If puja happens regularly at home then also it is used. Flowers are also used as decoration for festivities like wedding or other ritual. Women in southern Indian also put flowers in their head though mostly for ocassions...

Wow! People can ride motorcycles without helmets and i don't understand why everybody is honking. In my country not wearing helmets can be fined heavily or jailed for 5 years. Motorists in my country only honk when there is an emergency or otherwise can be fined for creating public nuisance..
Pretty much immaculate, the people must work hard to keep it clean and tidy, a lack of filth spraying graffiti too, maybe they don't have money for the cans.
This is (Chennai) India. We do not follow western traditions of graffiti that is useless. We Indians don't waste money on cans that ruin a beautiful building.
It's organised chaos and that is interesting to non-Indians. As a non-Indian myself, this video actually makes me want to visit this city. Organised chaos is better than uncontrolled chaos and some of the areas were actually very interesting like the market and White Town and remarkably clean too.

We indians get fined as well, but there aint police in every street, so sometimes people travel without helmet in very small distances
