- Learn how to make this fun and easy ladder stitch beaded ring made with Miyuki 11/0 Delica Beads. It's the perfect project for beginners! Ladder stitch is a great bead weaving stitch to learn as it's used as the foundation for other stitches. So why not learn how to do ladder stitch and make a cute beaded ring at the same time? You can use any bead colors or pattern. In this tutorial, I created an inlay look with colored beads flanked by metallic gold beads.
Here are the materials you will need:
Crystal FireLine Beading Thread (6LB)
Beading Needle (size 10 or 12) - available at www.thebeadmix.com
Scissors
Miyuki 11/0 Delica Beads - I used gold Delica beads and my Tropical Horizon Delica Bead Mix available at www.thebeadmix.com in this tutorial
While not necessary, but very helpful, I use a beading mat to lay out my beads and keep them from moving around. It also makes it easy to pick up the beads with your needle.
In the video, I used black beading thread so it is easier to see. However, I recommend you use Crystal FireLine, which is clear and will be less visible.
