The snow switch really less sound then other switchs. Thanks I love it.❤❤❤❤
The original is currently on sale for $169 and it's miles above the new Corsair for about the same price. We have had ours for almost 18 months of constant use - currently with WS Heavy Tactiles in it. I'm currently using a QK75n but while we have 12 or more custom boards now one of my sons is still using this as his daily driver over all of them. In regards to the switches, and this just from my experience, most don't want or need hall effect switches unless they are professional FPS gamers and not even all of them do. It's got the one of the lowest latency wireless connections out there as well. Oddly enough even though I have tons of tools now I use the cap puller from the Azoth package over everything else, to me it's just faster because I lay my caps out or put them in the tray when I pull them. Nice review, play around with it some more, it might grow on ya! :)
I liked it a lot for what it was actually! But then I saw the price of $249 and I got sad lol. For the switches, I didn't think having hall effect was a needed, but then again I saw the price and realized that most gaming keyboards at this price point have these features, mainly the wooting for example. I guess the biggest draw would be the lowest wireless latency so that's on me for not mentioning it.
$169 in reality should be the original price even with these new nx snow/storm switches. That would make it such a better option to choose from
@@PrestonsThoughts I definitely agree at full price. For that you could get a Neo80 with nice caps and switches or a QK75n with cheap ones, a fully built Keychron Q1 Max... maybe even a used Sonnet.
Exactly I just think it doesn't do enough to justify the price point it is at. North facing, plastic, OEM Keycaps, no hall effect or any other gaming features, etc.
It's a great keyboard, but the price makes it hard to justify
@@PrestonsThoughts yeah only good point from plastic bottom is adjustable legs (aside from wirelesses connectivity)
5:21 literally same happened to me :( And I'm not able to peel the rest, I don't even know i if there is anything else remaining to peel
Nice vid mate
Thank you!
This KB was $349 reg price in Canada, but I got it for $199. I was on the market for a KB bc I was missing the tilde on my 60% KB, but yeah I can say that I'm definitley happy to have gotten this one sale. It's a beauty.
Any recommendations you would suggest forr someone who might build one for my portable setup?
Probably silent switches check out Wuque Studio's line of silent switches for portable use!
This is an Keyboard that I always wanted...
Hi, does your Azoth have double press issue? sometimes (or quite frequent on few specefic keys I guess) when you press once it will actually press twice, I read a lof of people have this issue with Azoth but was wondering if my Azoth is a defect or not
usually double pressing takes a while to occur so I can't confirm this for sure, but as of right now, I have not
@@PrestonsThoughts I see, seems like most double press issue happens on the NX snow switches (the one I have), It happens pretty much within a week, please keep us updated if you encounter similar issues!
The better mainstream products get, the better hobby products will have to get + more people getting into it!
I feel like the RGB LEDs are pretty lacking. Compared to my Rac3 RGB it seems much more dim.
Just the camera they are plenty bright irl
@@PrestonsThoughts I mean, I'm comparing it to my other keyboard. I have both right now. Noticeable brightness difference between the two.
For me, the best feature of this keyboard is its battery life, and sadly, I didn't hear much about that. I haven't heard of another keyboard in this category that lasts so long.
True that's something I forgot to mention my bad
asus tell that it should work a lot without rgb (2000h)
I can definitively agree that full price, this keyboard was rather hard to stomach, and with new offerings popping up, that does put it in a weird spot.
I can say that when it goes on sale though, it could be an interesting choice. Managed to grab one recently for 140$ 👀.
I don't understand. This board has been out for ages... it's been reviewed a million times.
They added new switches and a new color way a couple months ago(mentioned it in the vid!) :)
