    when i saw the first videos talking about this keyboard i was instantly in love with it. I love anything with a screen on it, heck my gpu and cpu and even psu all have little screens on them. i would love to have a screen on my keyboard too, since its one of the two parts of a setup you interact with most. the only thing stopping me from buying this magnificent keyboard is the price. at 250 bucks its just a super steep price to swallow. I think ill stick with my custom for now but later I definitely will be buying the azoth.

    (english is not my first language so please bare with me)
    Yesterday i was looking for earphones because what i have currently is starting to torn out itself.
    So i visited a local mall to test the feelings,(i am not from the US btw), i did not quite find something decent for me, since the more premium headsets were not able for test simply because the samples were limited.
    But.. while i was casually just looking at things in a gaming area,i randomly tested the feeling of a plethora of keyboards.
    Some of them were extremely premium and expensive such as the 915 model from logitech for example.
    At this pooint i want to inform you that i do have for about 2-3 years the k70rgb mk2 lowprofile, which is an insanity of keyboard imo.
    Apart from the plastic wrist rest, which is not terible either btw, i have 0 absolutely zero complains by the keyboard.
    It has insanely fast actuation on the switches which was something i was looking for(for some people this is deal breaker btw) and the sound and overall feeling is quite pleasant with many many features that are amazing and usefull.
    I say all this not to advertise corsair, but in order to emphasize something later on.
    So, i was convinced that i would not find something better for my needs and if so the experience would have been quite similar.
    And indeed with likes of logitech, razer etc. I was not amazed while comparing the keyboards to mine, i had nothing to be jealous for.
    Then... i find and asus rog keyboard, the claymore 2.
    I put my fingers on it, and i instantly went insane. it had the red optical switches, and felt quite premium solid accurate and quiet all along.
    i spent the next 10 minuites(i was looking for headset lol) exploring the extras, the numpad the wrist rest, connectability etc.
    I have never ever seen such a crazy keyoboard with so good feeling while typing and so many extras.
    The only advantage i found from my k70 was that there are more dedicated multimedia keys that do not need any kind of customization and if i am not mistaken the ability to store 3 lighting profiles into the keyboard..that's it.
    every other aspect it felt simply outtiered and please do bare in mind whether you like low profile keyboards or a particular switch we talk about an amazing keyboard aswell.
    i do wonder if there are any other products by rog, that share the same switches as the claymore red II.
    I highly consider getting one in the future.
    The one you show in the video is way too expensive from my country, and a keyboard that does not have a wheel volume controler and a numpad is a pass for me.
    simply because i need the numpad for work, or simply typing numbers effectively and regarding the volume controler is my favourite extra.
    however i highly understand why you fell in love with it since i had a similar experience recently.
    I wanted to ask,regarding my needs and what i currently own, is claymore 2 the best choice, or is there anyhting else that have felt of my radar.

    It is good you mentioned how your specific situation affects key choice! So many people overlook this - every person is different and so different key types are required. After owning many different styles of keys over the years, I have discovered for me - brown keys actually cause me physical pain from pressing on keys. I am an extreme keyboard user however, and will often be using my keyboard and typing for 16 hours or more, in long sessions. So comfort and ease of use are of primary importance to me. The problem with the Brown keys is the extra pressure needed to get past that tactile 'hump' over many hours at a time, is harder on the joints in your fingers. I don't have shaky hands myself, My hands are rock stable and have been all my life. So I prefer to use the NX Reds for ease of use, light key presses, and precision.

    • @rccosplay3249
      @rccosplay3249 Год назад

      @@thespaceman9465 It's 100% size, RGB is great IMHO and I love RGB, for those that don't want RGB then don't get the Flair 2! The keys are replaceable, the keyboard has 3 models, Red keys, Blue Keys or Brown. I did not notice and originally I got the Brown but returned it for the Red(Gamer Keys). There are media keys and scroll wheel for volume, all work great. And similar to the Azoth that was in this video there is a display but it's Dot Matrix "Animate" Not sure if it can display PC stats as I have not tried yet but other than that... I love it ❤

    2 Questions:
    1. Does it support multi-layer key re-mapping ? (i.e. re-mapping FN/CTRL/ALT key combinations ?)
    2. How loud is it when comparing it to other mechanical keyboards ? Would it be too much for an office setting ?

    • @thespaceman9465
      @thespaceman9465 Год назад +1

      1. I DONT think it does, but I would look into ASUSs armory Crate software. I are able to change which key does what, but I’m unsure if it supports multilayer

    • @thespaceman9465
      @thespaceman9465 Год назад +1

      2. In my opinion it’s a pretty quiet keyboard. The sound is very pleasant. The sound in my video makes it sound a lot louder than it does in person. I take my keyboard into the office sometimes and no one complains. No coworkers have said it was annoying. Keep in mind, you could probably get it quieter if u wanted with some customization

    • @MarbsMusic
      @MarbsMusic 11 месяцев назад

      I have the blue switches and they are the quietest blue's I've probably ever heard, they definitely had a little more push back but didn't see much different from the browns, just enough for me to grab them instead. The board is very quite regardless of switch choice.

    Great job on this bro.
    If you reply to my question; you earn my sub..! 😊
    I’m completely new to mechanical keyboards, bought a huntsman mini 60% and absolutely hated the way it sounds….
    You seem real knowledgeable with this stuff, and I noticed three different color switches that seemed to be ROG switches at that, causing me more confusion from just learning that “cherry” is referring to a brand name, not the color. 🙄
    Can you please tell me what I would need to do to this exact model keyboard; but if I were looking for the keyboard experience of, say, the grail of keyboards; Lenovo x220; opposed to say something much less to my taste, like the huntsman mini; I hate the huntsman for its sound, AND feel.
    Can you make a recommendation of exactly what is need to do with this….. eccentric…. Design….?
    Also, is it even possible to find the blue accent keys from the black and blue model, if I just wanted to put the blue accent keys instead, onto my white model…?
    I truly appreciate your time. Thanks so much!
