One of the most terrifying thing about this ride is hearing that minute long chain lift carrying you up the first drop.
I find the view of the river calming. For some reason Ferris wheels scare me way more than coasters. This park used to have a big one.

Considering the fact that the camera isn’t mounted to the train, I am amazed at how smooth the video is. Also has great amounts of airtime.
@TechMasterJason bruh the camera they used is special. It’s mounted on and there’s no risk of it falling out and hurting someone. They don’t tell you not to bring your camera because they don’t want people taking videos of the ride but because the camera will probably fall out of the ride and can hurt someone.

Wait wouldn't a smaller ride have been a better choice as a first coaster then? Like what about Thunderbolt or Gotham City Gauntlet or Pandemonium? Those would probably be better choices
Would not surprise me if you were scared! lol My first coaster ride was Rye Playland Dragon, and I was one year older than you at the time I rode it, back in '83. Seriously, I would not recommend Superman SFNE as a first coaster. Maybe Steel Force in Dorney Park. As big as Superman, but not as steep or aggressive. lol

Start to finish… just the best ride I’ve ever been on. No doubt
I went to this six flags in late may this year. This was the first ride I went on in the park. We waited in line for about 20 minutes, but then the ride got shut down due to maintenance right as I was about to enter the ride. I was obviously pretty annoyed, but they got it fixed after about an hour. However, the ride after was TOTALLY worth the wait. The first drop was perfect, and the rest of the ride was buttery smooth. No weird rapid jolts or turns, and no slamming against the lap bar. As I got off, I was unscathed. No headaches, dizziness, nausea, or whiplash whatsoever. It was one of the few rides where we had a really long line and I actually felt that the ride was worth the line. Thank you Six Flags for that great experience.
This was the very first coaster I've ever been on and that first drop just about scared me to death lmao! 🤣

When I visited this Park on July 26, 2018, this was the first ride I rode. After I got into the Park, I went straight to Superman, because I had a feeling if I waited until later in the day, I would've had to wait for a long time in line. However, that wasn't the case, as it was a Thursday when I went, and it really isn't that busy on Weekdays! So, after I did some other rides, I went back and rode Superman again! And both times I rode, I sat in the very front!

I went on this last week. IT WAS INSANE. Recommend for everyone who wasn’t gone on this in New England. It’s such a fun and nice experience.

Amazing ride, but the new station setup is horrible. More empty single seats than before. The old setup is better
The station set up is literally the same as when it was Bizzaro tho
+Carmella Mitchell they changed its smaller and they only let you wait for the seat you won't if there is under 2 train loads of people waiting much more cramped now

+Carmella Mitchell The wait times for this ride are insane compared to Bizarro. The most i had to wait for Bizarro was 30 mins in the 15+ i rode it. I had to wait 2 hours on Superman on Wednesday due to the stupid VR. It takes so much time to make sure everyone has their Headset on right.
Please add new trains with the types of lap bars that can be found in the newer Intamin coasters.
T-bars were outlawed in MA after an accident in I believe 2003.
I don't mean those restraints but the ones that are in coasters like Velocicoaster and Taiga.

The T-Bar restraints they used to have were the BEST. I wish they kept them.

Trust me for the people who are scared the worst part Is going on the cart and climbing up the hill during the drop you’ll be having a blast and also If you’ve been in Velocicoaster It’s scarier then the Superman since you never do unexpected twistes.

I'm sorry to bum on such a great ride, but nothing will ever beat the soundtrack used on Bizarro... the ride was so much more boring after have ridden the Bizarro with the pump soundtrack my whole life.

The best ride in the park
Amazing Hyper Coaster I have ridden. Lapbars are horrible but in my opinion you still get a really good amount of airtime it gives and it's really good for maintaining it speed.

@@recipesforruntz5317 if you sit lower on the seat and kinda lay back, the restraints go over your waist instead of your thighs. I learned that trick and it makes the ride so much better
I rode this ride twice yesterday and it is by far my new favorite roller coaster. It is so intense and the airtime and G’s are UNREAL. Words can’t describe the experience I had while riding this.
If you are nervous to ride this, JUST DO IT. I was really nervous too. But riding it was one of the best decisions I have ever made because I came to realize that it wasn’t so bad after all!

Rochelle Harrison not that scary, then again I go on this like 100 times a year. But the first drop is the worst part of the ride, after that it’s an easy ride. Just enjoy the time you’re on it! You won’t regret it!

From looking at this Coaster is has Goliath and Titan beat with steeper airtime hills and bank turns.
I was *this* close to going on it, but I took one last look at the first drop and chickened out right before getting in line
