Look at my newest video I have out if you want to see a cool burn dump dig. I foumd a tag from the 1890s you can read about under the community tab. I also have another dump dig/ artifact video coming soon!
.Nice blue bottle my young friend. I like to accompany you in those quiet places and I like to listen with the certainty that you are enjoying yourself and that you know what you are doing. Greetings friend and blessings always on your way.
It has to be one of my favorite bottle! It was hanging on for dear life! One more flood and it wouldve been washed away and broken. Dont worry I will be safe 💪🏼. Thanks for watching coyote!
Great video, ECL! Would love to see you dig more out of that bottle dump. In my area, it's very rare to find bottle dumps from before 1900. Most of our stuff in very modern. In your area you're going to have bottle dumps with much more age to them. That cobalt type cleaner was absolutely sick. Also, I've found a lot of listerine bottles but I've never found one that old. If you like marbles, I've got a tip for you: bottle dumps sometimes produce lots of marbles but another great way to find marbles is to go walk empty lots right after an older house(pre 1960s) has been bull dozed and the lot it sat on has been scraped. Go walk those and you can find them on the surface. Then walk them again after a rain. I've found lots of marbles over the years doing that. Down here our main metal detecting grounds are tear outs(that's what we call the bulldozed house lots) and we almost always find surface marbles when metal detecting those sites. Including lots of clay marbles.
Awsome tips! Thanks for this very valuable info 💪🏼We have a few very old houses that have recently been taken out, (I better get to them before they develop the land ☹️) I wish they wouldn’tve burned most of the stuff in that dump but at least I got some gems out of it, who knows what else is in there if I was just surface hunting that place! The blue bottle was hanging on for dear life lol. Thanks so much for the support and tips!! Im assuming the older stuff comes from the original farmhouse to the area built in the 1850s I see dudes metal detecting it all the time
@@eastcoastlithics No problem, my good man! Yeah, it sucks when the bottle dumps are all burnt up. I know of a huge one filled with all kinds of stuff but it's all melted and the stuff that isn't melted is brittle. You'd clean house in your part of the country if you got a metal detector. I drool over the thought of getting to detect in your area.
@@meandmyshadow6269I used to have one from the 90s but it finally gave out. It did a very good job finding many many pull tabs 😂 ill probably get a new one soon
@@eastcoastlithics Yeah, there's no shortage of pull tabs out there, haha! I had a metal detecting channel on youtube for 4 or 5 years and the name of that channel was TulsaPllTbFndr....hahaha, if you couldn't tell by the name, I also find a lot of pull tabs.
Pretty Marbles too, there was some killer shooter marbles along with those coins I recently aquired, idk if I showed them or not? But when auqachigger came down and treasure hunted with my nephew and I we found some cool ones but my nephew ended up losing them, I have a upload of that way back in my uploads and we’re on one of Chiggs videos as well, I don’t remember the title of it, GL&HH Homie👊🏹
Man that sucks he lost them. I wish I could find a whole pile of them in a bankside dump- not to say I wont in a future video when I take some more guys out with me to dig out and sift that whole hillside haha
Nice blue bottle!! I've recently started digging for arrowheads I suggest it, it's a lot of fun. That dump looks like a old sight, I'd see if the land owner would give you access to it. 🏹
This creek has everything you could imagine! The dumps are located on old land that used to be an old dye factory, the railroad tracks are getting burried, the roads are overgrown and everything is forgotten about. It is owned by a water company that doesnt seem to care about the dirtbike trails people have put on it but I should ask permission anyways.
I like to do a lot of research because im a nerd and like to know the possible peoples and time they lived there but most of the time you can go to any plowed field on top of a hill or any ancient watersource like a big river. Over the 12000 years natives inhabited the US they left millions and millions of artifacts everywhere you just have to learn how to find likely locations. All sites will usually have a nearby water source, high ground, and a place the ground has been disturbed or eroded to reveal points etc.
@@eastcoastlithics yes primarily quartz points, mixed with some rhyolite and chert. Lots of other tools. Grinding bowls, hammer stones, perforators, etc. We've only begun to scratch the surface out here. Land is very secluded and private, with a prominent creek running through it. I'd be glad to share video or pictures with you before making the drive.
Before watching this video, I was fat and played Fortnite in my moms basement for 7 hours a day while dreaming about one day having a girlfriend. After this enlightenment, i grew to 6‘7 and can now bench press 500 lbs and get approximately 3-7 texts from girls every minute asking me out. I landed a nice job making 1,000,000 a week and my life has turned around. Thank you East coast lithics!
Bro, your story was so emotional 🥲 Im so glad I could assist you in achiving your life goals in 6 months since starting this channel. Thanks for watching 😂
Hey man just because it isnt flint doesnt mean it isnt an artifact lol. Quartz is pretty tough to show on camera, trust me I know when im looking at worked stone and other creators knows its worked too 🤷🏼♂️ Thanks for the watch though!
Hay East Coast Neighbor. I’m the guy in Northern Maryland and I know exactly what you mean about quartz points it’s very hard to see flaking on camera unlike Rhyolite or chert. Some people don’t have any manners. Keep up what you’re doing young man you’re doing a great job and I know you know what you’re doing.

Should I do some real bottle diggs in those hillsides? Shovels sifters and all if you guys want to see it. Let me know!
