So I have watched several of your videos and you do great job with every song. Why this video too has only 230+ views and not 230K+ in three years is a mystery to me, but if you want to get more people to experience your talent, I would have a suggestion that might help: do a metal cover, e.g. a Nightwish song like Nemo, Elan or Ghost Love Score. Might suit your voice and tends to boost singer visibility. To be honest, those would not be my subjective number one suggestions for you if asked what song I would like you to sing, but just a good way to get new people around. Many of us metalheads tend to like many other genres too but we are like dogs who need the familiar bone first and something like that could be the bone. 🦴🐶
Thank you so much for this helpful comment ! I'm no good with social media but hoping to post more this year and hope I can find something that helps the following. I do sing fulltime for my work at events etc so I'm busy with that but new original music will be uploaded soon too. I'll bare in mind what you've said about a metal song 🎵 👌 thanks again and hope you'll stay tuned x
@@estherfletchermusic2943 Thanks for the reply, Esther. What you can somewhat easily do to boost your RUclips visibility is to use a different title naming style in the videos: I am not RUclips algorhithm expert but I would guess putting the song name + original performer's name in the title and in the details might help as it creates repetition and boosts your positioning at least in Google search results when people try to find particularly Chris Isaak's Wicked Game's covers - which in turn affects your RUclips visibility. So if for example this video was named something like "Wicked Game - Chris Isaak (cover)" and you had those keywords also in the description, it would most likely get more views. (a semi-educated guess, don't slay me if this doesn't work 😳) Another easily fixed thing that might affect people directly is the video thumbnail. I guess you are using autogenerated thumbnails on at least some of the videos? If so, picking the best frame manually might do some magic. (I was about to skip the first video suggestions from your channel because the auto-thumbnail look gave the impression that the video content might be something that is just quickly uploaded - I'm glad I checked it out). This seems quite ok quick introduction to the topic if you want to learn about this stuff: sproutsocial.com/insights/how-to-promote-your-youtube-channel/ For some time now, I've been searching for underrated singers/bands in RUclips just for fun; your channel is really the most underrated so far based on views/talent. I am certainly going to link to your videos when people wonder on other channels about how someone (with lesser vocal skills) has gotten "only" 50k views. All the best to you.
