I first heard this cover two days ago and I cannot get the words "LaBoheme" out of my mind. It's one of those that take a long time to leave you. I don't think I will ever tire of listening to that.

Just 11 years old when this album was recorded. Angelina is able to take this classic song and bring it to life in a way I had not heard it before. You are so right... she does not "mimic" anything. She takes techniques that she has picked up from many different artists, and uses them in a perfect way to convey the emotion of the song.

As I have mentioned in previous posts, I have been following her since her audition for the voice of Norway which she did win at the age of 7 years. I too have long given up on trying to explain what she does and how she does it. In addition to the pure pleasure she affords me when singing, her ability to transform from child to pure professional and then just as quickly back to a child is fascinating.
