Hi, i got a question about MDF Q:face same bet size on flop/turn/river, our MDF shouldn't be the same, right?because MDF means villian has "0 eq bluff",but on the flop, villian rarely has "0 eq bluff",so our call ev goes down then we should defend less than MDF on flop but more closed on turn then most closed on river. Is there any misconception or misunderstaning? Ty
Thanks for asking this question. It helped me make a connection to why the bluff:value ratio of bets is generally highest on the flop and lowest on the river. So I guess MDF is most suited for river decisions when bluffs have zero equity.
Q: How does a GTO strategy gain EV? I wonder about the answer. Why does it have to be -EV? Doesn't GTO win even if Villain doesn't take the action with the maximum EV, e.g. Villain chooses bet which yields +10 in EV, but with a raise he would make +50? If Villain doesn't take the action with the maximum EV, does that mean GTO Hero doesn't lose as much (so is actually gaining), or am I seeing this wrong?
In a heads up pot, villain's losses are your gains! So yes you're interpreting that correctly. The one caveat is that sometimes their losses can be transferred to the rake instead of the opponent.
Please stop posting these videos its entirely too much information and the game is as hard as it already is. Its going to help people way too much Seriously, stop. Thank u soo much but please.
Not even daniel negreanu thinks about that. I ve watched his masterclass and he has a small chart with equity. Nothing so advanced. Even he says that u dont need to know perfect GTO u need game sense, u have to balance these things
So how many questions did you get correct? 👀
Mage, 8 correct, would have been 9 except a brain-blunder happened LOL

I had to take the quiz twice, but now I'm a GTO wizard.
Never seen a more succinct form better explains GTO than this. Thanks!
3:45 btw, I'd totally buy that shirt.
10/10 correct, but of course I'm not a gto wizard. Can you guys do a postflop quiz?
Great simplification of complex strategies. thanx
Only halfway through Play Optimal Poker and that got me through most questions. Not quite a Wizard yet though.

question 9 felt more like a philosophical contemplation^^
Thank you very much for a great video!
Haha love the ending, glad to be an apprentice. Guess I got my letter in the owl mail before my 11th birthday 😂
8/10, still struggling in NL5 lol.
I should get back below the stairs and forget about Hogwarts 😂
despite being a 'gto wizard', i still cannot profit at nl2
8 questions right but still can't beat NL25 feelsbadman
Rake is killing everyones profitability, and nobody of these guys is talking about it.
@@ZicoDuco you can beat every stake up to NL200 easily if u put effort
These are beginner questions though. If you can't beat NL 25 then you don't try hard enough
