I was such a huge fan back in the twisted by design days.... I remember hanging with my buddy RH3, and Jordan Burns in Cincy the afternoon before a show at bogart's. Then taking my whole crew to meet the band after the show. Jordan hung out and apologized for his bandmates for giving us the cold shoulder. I think the whole band is super talented, but if I was gonna list the talent from top to bottom, it would start from the bottom of the rythm rhythm section and end with the singer. 15 or so years later, at a show at radio down in Cincy, the singer caused me and my crew to have a fight, and personally called me out for having a "tap out" shirt on. He focused the entire crowd on me to cause me problems. I hate his guts and hope someone breaks his face.
Definitely a tough act to follow for RJ. Hopefully he's as cool to the fans as Jordan was. I remember Jordan taking the time to talk to us kids after a show... 20 years ago. Moto XXX introduced me to the genre

Jordan is not replaceable obviously, he's the best punk drummer. I saw them at the 1st Punk n Drublic and he definitely keeps up and adds new things here and there which sounds great.

To the new strung out drummer: Don't think about the pressure. Sometimes it can get you killed, like my friend, Steve. And don't think about how everyone is going to be judging and comparing you to one of the greatest punk rock drummers of all time. We will. And don't think about that shitty RockStar movie with that guy from New Kids on the Block. I've seen it 6 times. It's just not a good movie. And don't doubt yourself, don't ever do that. If you start to, just look in the mirror and say "I'm the fucking drummer of Strung Out. I'm a 3 foot dick covered in fairy dust. I've got a license to kill and I'm gonna slay every mother fucker in this room." -Now go get em!
i was there at Musink beer was like 50 bucks i saw you on stage with barker when fear and descendants were playing noticed the liberty spikes right away i slipped on some suspicious liquid in the pit though lol

New album is straight up over-indulgent, boring, heartless garbage, especially after the stellar TAD. Sorry, guys. Seems like you tore your heart out and left it back in '18.
