🎙️✔️**Box 13** is a syndicated radio drama centered around Dan Holiday, a newspaperman-turned-mystery novelist played by film star Alan Ladd. Produced by Ladd's own company, Mayfair Productions, Box 13 aired at various dates and times across different cities. It first debuted in several U.S. radio markets in October 1947.
🎙️✔️To inspire new ideas for his novels, Holiday placed a classified ad in the Star-Times newspaper, where he once worked: "Adventure wanted, will go anywhere, do anything - write Box 13, Star-Times." The series follows Holiday as he embarks on thrilling adventures prompted by letters from people like a psychotic killer and various distressed individuals.
