- The latest and greatest from Stern. Just in the nick of time they managed to announce it on the LAST day of the 50th anniversary of D&D. Should be a fun game if they maintain the software for years to come. If a game is setup for DLC, this is the one.
To me they nailed this - for me the pinnacle is Dragonlance and this art takes me home. Must have for me.
This looks amazing. Love the plastic ramps with purples and reds underneath. The dragon is cool and I’m glad they sculpted a mountain/rock background for it, but if they had used the iconic “Xanathar” eyeball creature,it would stand out a lot more.
Yeah, big plus for the sculpted mountain, we rarely see anything like that these days.
Game looks amazing. The adventure/story elements are going to make this game so replayable and fun.
Pinball already has a lot of no-game-the-same but this will dial that part to 11.
I expected another fan layout and that Brian would rip himself off again, but we got the complete opposite, thankfully. I’m stoked to play this now!
Finally some cues from The Shadow. We've been waiting. We're here for it. 🤘
@@DRI374 100%. No pops this time is huge.
8 balls is because the dragon locks balls on the premium
Makes sense! 🤘
I'd be more interested if it was based on the eighties d&d cartoon. People who were into d&d when it was popular didn't share an addiction for fast paced arcade fun. They were interested in board game and those Peter Jackson books.
I'm not sure the cartoon style had gone down well with the current pinball community. Just my guess. The art package seems to fit the theme quite well, without knowing any of this stuff though.
@@DRI374yeh I can understand about the asset package but for me, someone who loves pinball but has no interest in accumulating magic spells to cast on goblins, this has zero interest for me and I'd hazard a guess that it would drive away general arcade players too.
