@@randylochtefeld2806 My guy Scott really took care of me with those. Speaking of taking care of me… I got your cards. You are too generous. Seriously. Anytime you see something you like on here, let me know.
Man I was haunting this video from the start!! BG Guys everywhere! Nice Starting Lineup cards, but my favorite is your very own Dimebox Discoveries propaganda piece!! 😂😂😂 Love it!!
@@macwaxxstacks I seriously have way too many BG Falcons in my videos because of you. Haha. But Roger McDowell is a Cincy guy first and foremost. And as a marketing/pr guy, I gotta put my skills to use.
@@pats620 The first time I found out the name of the artist was Vernon Wells, I was like “wow, just like the baseball player. What are the odds?” Well, since it’s his dad, pretty good odds. Haha
@@Brotherjcardfinds There were like 500 or more in there, so I just grabbed my most favorites. You’re going to see more coming in my next videos. Found some more cheap fun ones this weekend.
@@wax_nostalgic Right? The guy has so many cool looking cards thanks to his omnipresent shades and submarine delivery. Then there is this. Lol. Did him dirty.
@@zachandporter My next video has some more Frank in it. He really was the king of the oddballs during the junk wax era. Every time I see parallel White Sox cards I think of you guys.
Where you thinking more of the 90 leaf Frank Thomas rookie that’s the one I remember everyone being after and paying crazy money for that whole 90 leaf set is pretty sought after especially for a 90’s set but the 91 set kind of fell into that way way way overprinted junk wax era stuff which was sad cause they were nice cards but definitely not as nice as the 90 set which was amazing
@@FrankBeingFrank Oh man, the 1990 Leaf. If I ever hit one of those in a dime box I’d lose my mind. That card was a monster! And still goes for $15+ at the very low end. But back in 1991 I remember the 1991 Leaf going for $5-$10 a pop. But you’re 100% correct about the 1990 Leaf set. It felt “exotic”. And now that you say it I don’t remember seeing very many 1990 Leaf cards in dime boxes. Kind of like 1992 Bowman. I see them on occasion, but they stand out for NOT being seen.
@@scottstein1135 That is a very random person to have on your hate list. I’m sure there must be a good story there. Haha. And you’re half right, I am a Reds/A’s fan, but I am not a Bengals fan. I buy a bunch of their cards because a lot of people in the area have them out and they make good trade bait. I’m actually a Bucs fan in football. So we can coexist in harmony in the NFL… unless we meet in the Super Bowl, which I would be fine with.
Love the Montana starting lineup cards at the very end.

Love that sign!! I have that Cecil but I could use another

Love that 1989 Classic Orel, the purple is such a great set. 1992 Bowman is amazing. Ramon Martinez minor league is great!

Very nice, would love to find a bunch of Frank Thomas for a nickel. 1992 Bowman is a set I am putting together.
