We just got back last week. Stunning resort. Staff was wonderful. We stayed in Casa Artista in an ocean view. Absolutely beautiful. The Mercado was great for breakfast, and most of the restaurants we tried were great as well. Would love to go back tomorrow if I could swing it.

Hi, going in August and I'm excited! Do they require a reservation for transportation to take you back to the airport when your stay is finished? Saw on someone else's video they didn't know that.
Hi Sarah! Ah you'll have a great time! No you don't need to make a reservation just let them know when you are leaving as there is transport going to and from the airport regularly 👍🏽

Hi thanks for the comment. I'm pretty sure you can only stay all inclusive at xcaret hotels. This includes all food, drinks, park entry, x1 park meal per day you go to the parks as well as transport to and from the airport and the parks. A few activities in the park are extra as you'll see in some of my upcoming videos! Hope that helps 👍🏽
I booked Xcaret Arte a few months before we were set to travel! The hotel only opened in July 2021 and because of that and Covid, it was not busy. Hotel Xcaret Mexico (family resort) was a lot busier and availability much more limited. Hope that helps 👍
Hi mate, great video......I'm heading there soon with my 2 kids, I'm wondering what is the score with regarding tipping, I'm happy to tip but 1 of them main attractions about all inclusive is the ability to wonder around without needing to carry anything like money or cards. ... What's best for the stuff I do need to buy, like sun lotion etc, can I use my bank cards or will I need proper money money? Thank you.
Hey man! Thanks appreciate it! It isn't a requirement to tip whilst you're there and it isn't really expected. The staff won't treat you any different because if it. Of course they work super hard to make your stay as amazing as possible so I'm sure they will appreciate a tip, but don't feel forced too 👍🏽...pack plenty of essentials like sun lotion, bug spray because if you run out they have some on property but it's expensive! The xcaret hotels and parks will take card but I always carried around some emergency cash just in case 👍🏽
When you show up they will put a $200 hold on the credit card you have on hold (I believe you can put $200 cash if you don’t want a credit card) the bracelet is your room key and technically your credit card so you don’t have to carry cash around because they can charge anything you buy to your room and at checkout you can either put it on the credit card or pay it cash. Hope that makes sense.

Hope you have a great time! There were vegan options from what I can remember. My wife's vegetarian and even if there was nothing veggie on the menu they would make something...so I assume the same principal would apply to your vegan friend 👍🏽 Whilst at Arte we were able to also dine at Hotel Xcaret nextdoor and there's a completely vegan restaurant there so hopefully the same rules will apply to your stay
Hi! The hotel's really accomodating for different dietary requirements, like in the cafe there was a gluten free section 👍🏽 They always asked if you had any allergies in the restaurants too!
@Silvia Hoard Hi! Most restuarants had seafood options...there wasn't a specific seafood only restaurant though. Is for the best time of the year - I went in August and the weather was amazing so probably the summer months, maybe trying to avoid the school holidays if you don't have children so it's less busy in the Xcaret parks. As for the Casa, they're all really nice and all basically the same layout with rooftop pools on the top of most casa blocks 👍🏽

Hi Terra! So basically there's a nornal a la carte menu so like ramen, spring rolls etc. Then there's a Hibachi grill/teppanyaki where the chef cooks in front of you and does tricks etc so a more interactive vibe 👍🏽
Ours was close to 10, but that was because we elected for a swim up, ocean front suite, with first class flights both ways. Also for 8 days. The average seems in the 7k range for a week
