❤ I love the dancing ladies!! They really added a lot of beauty to the bohemian theme! Your journal has a lot of style. Each page progresses very well from beginning to end … I just love the LOOK so much!! BRAVO🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love this journal, Kathleen! I can see how that tapestry really spurred your creativity to make this lovely, lovely journal. I love how you combined the dancing figures with flowers and butterflies. Edited to say - I can't enough of the Peek a Boo pocket. My favorite find this year! Thanks, my friend!
Another gorgeous journal, Kathleen. So many lovely pages, pockets (love the fussy cuts as peekaboo pockets), and all of the trim on the page edges! I had to chuckle when you said you had sacrificed a bit of your favorite trim for this journal. I do understand that feeling. I love that yellow striped paper. I don't know why, but horizonal stripes always speak to me. I also noticed the pockets with the folded corners held in place with a brad. Such a cute idea. Just that little extra that makes a page special. Enjoyed seeing this journal so much. Thank you as always for sharing your talents. I am always inspired. I'm editing my comment to add that the cover is wonderful. Love the colors, the way you constructed the closure with the hand dyed sari ribbon (a blue to swoon over), and the plate you constructed to embellish the cover yet allow that fantastic upholstery fabric to be seen. I'll go now. Just wanted to let you know I liked the journal. (Understatement for sure.)
Absolutely beautiful journal. You got such wonderful images from the graphics fairy (love that site). I love your cutaway pockets and all the trims on the page edges. Stunning
Kathleen, what a beautiful, creative book this was. Loved that layered front cover. That embossed red piece over the amazing fabric book. Beautiful idea. BTW, you have the most soothing voice. You should teach a Yoga class!;) Thank you for this share.
Kathleen what a stunning journal and I just purchased it to go with my other of your journals ( the other wise man) I can not wait to sit and go through this journal. I know it’s better in person. Thank you for what you do…I love love your journals
Such a talent you have! you are an artist!!! I think I saw one page that was for practicing a long time ago skill called "short hand" which was an abbreviated form of writing so one could write quickly at the rate of speech such as when a secretary would take 'dictation' from another person and then transcribe the short hand into a letter. Maybe it wasn't but it sure reminded me of this (but I'm 59 years old) when I learned the skill in high school back in the late 70's early 80's. Thanks for sharing your art; it is outstanding!!!
Stunning stunning stunning! I have a Favourites Folder in my Graphics Fairy Downloads Folder on my computer and Bohemian Brights is probably my most favourite one in there! You have now provided more inspiration for me to use it - maybe Bohemian could be my theme for my 2024 journal - hmmmmm 🤩
What a lovely trip to discover the beauty of Bohemian art and crafts! The fabric and images that you have put together perfectly reflect the enchanting, warm and welcoming vibe of your chosen theme, just like a dance. Gorgeous journal as always!
The cover is beautiful with the combination of colors and closure piece ❤. Did you put the dancing ladies on the flowers digitally? Everything looks amazing. I've been noticing more and more peek a boo pockets in other journals. It's always fun to see how other creators use ideas.
Thanks so much for reaching out! I typically use FabriTac for almost everything - it’s just my go to adhesive. I generally use matte medium for collage work. The paper is flat because I iron it, haha. I spend a lot of time ironing paper…sigh.
I found it in JoAnn’s Fabric - so this was new. But I actually find and use a lot of fabric remnants from friends, especially older women that used to sew, in thrift stores and sometimes antique stores and love cutting up old curtains and clothing as well. Good luck with the search - it’s always ongoing right?
Stunning, Kathleen!! I absolutely love, love, love the colours!
Thanks so much Kerri! I loved working with the colors - so cheerful.
Such a gorgeous journal, Kathleen! I absolutely love all the vibrant colors, the trims you used, and the way you fussy cut the ladies! ❤❤

My pleasure! Thanks so much for watching! The page you recognized is from a vintage shorthand excercise book. Good eye, haha!

Thank you Karen!
The cover is beautiful with the combination of colors and closure piece ❤. Did you put the dancing ladies on the flowers digitally? Everything looks amazing. I've been noticing more and more peek a boo pockets in other journals. It's always fun to see how other creators use ideas.
Yes, Evie - I did put the ladies on the flowers. But I took inspiration from the smaller printables cards, haha. Thank you Evie!
A beautiful heirloom. Please show us how you did the glossy bits.
Thank you Deb! I will put that on my list.
Kathleen I was wondering what adhesive you use, and how is the paper so flat after you dyed it? Beautiful journal ❤
Thanks so much for reaching out! I typically use FabriTac for almost everything - it’s just my go to adhesive. I generally use matte medium for collage work. The paper is flat because I iron it, haha. I spend a lot of time ironing paper…sigh.
Love the fabric! Where did you find it? I have so few options for fabric near me.

Beautiful journal!!!! I have a question: what thickness of paper do you use for the tuck spot cards you print, please?
Thank you! I generally use 65# cover stock, or sometimes lightweight or cheap Manila file folders.
@@BeAgainBooks thanks!
I will make from front panel some pocket full of ephemera or even booklet just to him more purpise
Where did come from those flower full pages and marble ones?
I made these pages with images from the Graphics Fairy premium membership site. There is a link in the description box.
