I forgot to mention in the video, the transmitter also has a micro sd slot so you can save audio directly to the device and also as a backup along side of your wireless recording!

Hey, might you have any idea why I am getting static in background when I hook this home mic to my Sony DLSR camera? It is recording find but there is crackly static in background.
How are you connecting it to your camera? What type of port or wire are you using. Sounds like it could be a bad connection or cable causing interference.

If the app supports microphones yes.

@@TheDShow tried two different cables and two different Sony cameras. I am thinking that the home mic might not be designed for dslr cameras?
It's geared towards smartphones but still seems odd that you would get static on a camera.
