- Yam Storage after a bountiful harvest can be very challenging sometimes. Many farmers have lost quite an amount of money due to improper storage. There are lots of ways to store yams but the use of traditional yam barns is still one of the preferred ones. This is because it affords the opportunity for proper ventilation of the stored yams. There are several ways of constructing these barns but this present video affords you the opportunity of accessing how to construct them by yourself with simple and affordable resources around you.

Oh great. Congratulations. Yams are very prone to rot. This method reduces that because they need to ventilate. Best place is cool, airy place so they can still keep their transpiration
