A look at the new Voigtlander 65mm f/2 APO Lanthar Lens for Sony!
This is one of the many reasons I like your channel, because I'd have never heard about this lens otherwise. I'm certainly not in the market for it, but I love photography so much that I enjoy hearing about all the different things that are out there. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this.

I own the Voigtlander APO Lanther in 125mm macro, 90mm & 180mm, all are Nikon mount. All three lenses are absolutly delicious particularly the 125mm macro which has a cult following. I would beg to challenge to see a comparisome between the 125 & the new 60 macro. Of course my lenses are no longer made. The 180mm a steller low light performer is the size of a soda can and so much fun to use for street photogrpahy due to its smaller size. Finally I'm glad to see that Vogtlander is bringing the APO Lanthers back.

It would be nice to compare this with the old Leica R Macro-Elmarit 60mm 2.8
There are reports that it is not a true APO and does produce CA. Can you confirm?
I hope Voigtlander makes more lenses for Sony E-mount.
they made 40mm f1.2 !!!! for around 1100 euro already ordered now i W8 on a post man :D ...maybe tomorrow !

I ordered that lens but it was out off stock and thez said in one week it will come ...after 3 weeks still ldidnt have it and decided to give a try to Xpro2 ...so sorry i canT give any cos i have life problem with w8ing
I do prefer them on M mount, like the 35 1.2 or 40 1.4 which I own, the why is that I use them with techartpro, so, I even get eye AF on those gems.....
What do you think of the upcoming voigtlander 35mm f1.4 and 40mm f1.2? why they don't make it 50mm f1.2 but 40mm which is so close to the 35mm? Zeiss Loxia 35mm f2 or the upcoming Voigtlander 35mm f1.4 better?

Love your videos but can't help feeling you have something of a Sony fanboy - so reviewed because it's a great lens or because its a Sony fit?
It's a great lens. Period. I only review what I like, what is good and what I feel others would benefit from. I review Leica, Fuji, Sony, Olympus, Panasonic...etc. I love them all, and just read reviews of the A9. It's amazing, so if liking the A9 makes me a fanboy, so be it. It's funny though as I get called a Leica, Sony, and Leica fanboy just because I positively review many of their cameras. I do so because they are worthy of it.
