After seeing Cryogenic playing First Rebirth with uptempo kick on Thunderdome mainstage and hearing this Dither track - Thunderdome is completly sold out for me
These new songs are not coherent. The good thing of the old, is a melody which continues which gives you a feeling of trance while dancing. This track has too many breaks. Moments of silence. Where nothing happens, this makes it less energetic.
Somehow I can't really get used to the new things. To me a lot of new tracks just sound like snipped. The song builds up several times & each time a different drop & a completely different beat/bass or the drop is completely missing. Somehow clapped along carelessly for my taste. No longer comparable to tracks that were on the Thunderdome in the 90s.
90's hardcore was all fun and all but it was a trend, real gabbers were still gabbers in the 2000's when many of the 90's gabbers said hardcore had died. It's sorta the same with tiktok gabbers.
