In this video i detail my version of the CHICKEN RIG. KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED FOR A LITTLE TWIST IVE ADDED. Although recently popularised by Mike Iconneli i came across this rig a few years back and have been using it when conditions dictate to catch Wrasse and Perch. If i am correct Gary Yamamoto originally conceived the idea and successfully used it on the American Bass fishing circuit. I knocked this one up on the bank but you can refine it yourself to suit different lures. I am already thinking of new ways to present it and will be playing around with the weighting so as the lure swims away from me on the cast into those nooks and crannies that Wrasse love to haunt.
