Dimash has always been a great performer. I watched all his concerts and have been to the one in New York. So I’ve seen him rock it out with other musicians. People keep watching his singer performances and while they’re amazing, his concerts are far better and improving all the time ❤️
Dimash has done so many concerts, you need to watch his concert footage for his DQ Band, dancers etc and his concerts are awesome and epic. Look on his official RUclips channel there are lots on there. His New York concert is there in two parts, do a song a week and you will see he is an operatic rock star. You are not watching the right songs if this is more your cup of tea. This is nothing new for him. Look at Golden, Amanat, both new on his channel and coming soon the video for Be With Me which is very, very different, you will love it. The song is already out on all digital music platforms. You haven't seen half of what Dimash is capable of, trust me he has more surprises to come especially when he comes to live in the US soon. Buckle up he won't be there for ever but he will stay until the entire planet knows just who Dimash Qudaibergen is 💖💖💖
Dimash has said that he desires for his beloved Kazakh folk music to be known in the western world so it should be important to those of us who love Dimash as well. That's why I am devoted to posting reminders that Dimash fans (Dears) have succeeded in propelling him to #1 in requests on MTV over the past four weeks in a row thanks to the persistent voting of a hard core group of Dears from all over the world. New fans who want to help keep Dimash at the top should calculate their time zone difference and then tune into the MTV youtube channel Friday Livestream every Friday from 5-8 pm New York time and type REQUEST DIMASH as many times as possible in the chat during the three hours that the program is airing. It is the least we can do for him in return for all he has given to us.
Actually he's been doing this for a long time.. You just haven't watched his concerts! Try his Arnau Astana concert 2020, a few hours long but big stage production! Or Bastau from 2017 which is an incredible concert.. Enjoy!
I love all of Dimash's Kazakh folk music. He brings something unique to each performance. You should have seen the full online digital show. No audience due to COVID, but the Dimashali team put out a full spectacular production. Dimash is the best! - FYI - Yes, two drummers.
Thank you. This performance level is not new for Dimash. I have been enjoying his various performances for about 4 years now, especially those with Kazakh instruments and language. More and more; Since his Singer 2017 appearance; Dimash has been displaying Kazakh music influences along with His usual Bel Canto, Jazz, R&B, Pop and Estrada into his songs and performances. These influences are especially evident in his live concert performances. This song was premiered at his on-line “Digital Show” on January 16th of this year, along with other Kazakh songs. The Digital Show was performed/recorded in Ukraine. I hope there will be many more stage performances in the future being released from this and other Ukraine recordings. I am very much Looking forward to them. I believe, Dimash is a born stage musician, singer and performer. I have witnessed first hand, Dimash is genuine, he shines as well as thoroughly entertains when he is on stage.
Dimash is so relaxed when he is singing and moving on stage... he always amazes me when a new video comes out...he's so versatile! LOVE him dearly!! Also, love your reactions...and your SMILE!! :)
Dimash is imo the 5th element and a trail blazer in his revolutionising of the art of music composition and stage performance. Great reaction! Dimash is the most versatile artist that I've seen. This performance is from his digital concert that was held this year in January. I don't think he has 2 drummers, one is drummer and one is percussionist - they toured with him before the pandemic started.
Dimash’s concerts are always like this. This was from Dimash’s Digital concert in January 2021. The 100 minute show was all high production quality, just like this new song. The lyrics of this song were written by his Dad, Kanat.

I am not sure which Dimash songs you have seen already, but if these are new to you I would suggest: Screaming (MV & Live-Idol Hits), maybe try some from his live concerts (Arnau Kinetic, D-dynasty, Bastau etc.) Love of tired swans, My swan, Golden (MV & Live), Mademoiselle Hyde, Know (MV & Live) :)
Watch any of his concerts over the last few years and you will see many cultural songs with his countries instruments. He sings in 12 languages and speaks Kazakh, Russian and English. He plays multiple instruments including piano drums, dombra, and anything with strings😁 His band is amazing with two drum kits, guitars, keyboard etc. Best in the world.
In almost all his performances he uses ethnic instruments, sounds and melodies, except for the classic operatic ones.... In the song "Hello", where he sings that melodic Hello like a desperate cry, it is an allegory to the call to prayers that the Iman makes at the top of the mosque's timor. As well as in the song "Sinful Passion" in Sochi concert, when Dimash cry's a melisma, the "Yakuhan rift", it is an ancient Asian ritual song for the dead, and it was dedicated to the song composer and member of that band on stage "A'Studio" who died tragically soon after leaved the band... And those songs written by him or arranged by him personaly, or his invited Kazakhs writers and composers have always something ethnic on... Kazakhstan was once one of the provinces of USSR till 1990. It's the 9th biggest territory in the world as a country, and suffered many wars, invasions mostly by it's country neighbors since Genghis Khan era, and political miss fortunes, hunger and death raised for centuries. It was a very suffered and oppressed people, but proud and brave at same time. That's why their flag is a sun and a golden royal eagle in a blue sky... The eagle is a symbol of independence and wild freedom to the future. This one lyrics was written by his father Kannat, and it talks about the proud of being a Kazakh that should be a guardian of it's culture, history and country for the future young generations.... Witch is what Dimash is doing so well, to represent and make known his language and country...
This song was inaugurated in its first digital concert in January 2021, with an overwhelming success and the participation of dears from more than 100 countries. On that occasion she sang in 6 languages. This is sung in kasajo.

For the shock value - Unforgettable Day at Gakku and his newest song Be With Me (highly recommend listening to the audio recording before watching the MV - there is SO much incredible stuff going on that I think the MV is truly overwhelming if you haven’t heard the audio already).
