Now that they have improved the franchise mode features pretty substantially, I would love for them to focus on presentation and immersion now. Make it feel like a real gameday. Different commentators and scorebugs. Add a halftime show. Add a weekly recap show similar to 2K5 or the Tony Bruno show. These would make the game feel ALIVE. I doubt they will but it would really enhance the player experience.
That ls what I'd be happy with the game play in beta was great I liked the game play alot just presentation is same need improvement

YES YES YES They NEED TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
They use to do a really good job of that in the Madden 11 days. They’d show the stadium from the outside with Gus Johnson commentating and they would show the fans tailgating and the players getting off the bus. And they even had a post game recap of the whole week in the league. Why they got rid of that, I’ll never know
any sort of weekly recap would probably be vague and repetitive like the commentators
This to me is a step in the right direction but I think I speak for all true Madden players when I say I wish they'd change the commentary and the halftime show
those commentators are prolly under contract for right now but they can change presentation and shi I agree !! no excuses for that

We need a coaching carousel in franchise mode. Let us start out as a defensive coordinator or offensive coordinator and work our way up to head coach. Also back when superstar mode allowed you to transfer your player from ncaa to madden i think we need a similar thing for coaching. Start out as a coach in the new ncaa football game as a coordinator and work ourselves up to a head coach in ncca and then eventually get noticed by an nfl team and transfer yourself to madden. Just some cool ideas that could be made possible! Overall it doesn't look bad at all!
I never thought about tht but yea it would be fun from a coach position as well

I wish in FRANCHISE MODE when you win the super bowl/Conference Championship or Division Champs they hang a banner the following year but the banner actually stays year after year and you should see how many banners you can hang in a career they should also have every team that won the super bowl starting with super bowl 1 as playable teams like retro teams they also need a super bowl mode where you can replay every super to relive it or change the outcome and when you when or complete the objective you get both teams plus Superbowl stadium for that year 🤷

They don’t show the banner but they do a whole ring ceremony, and lower a banner but it’s a cut scene basically…HOWEVER! 2k does show all your leagues history, and all your championships etc

A step in the right direction. But it still feels like bare minimum compared to previous madden titles. You once told me that we set our own expectations… my expectations derive from madden 05, 06, 07, 08 etc. Crazy to think that was so many years ago yet had far more features for franchise
Every madden is a “step in the right direction” that label has been used too many times, the nfl needs to give up this stupid company and allow multiple sim football games again

@@joelbugzmcgee8439the training camp was a STAPLE in old maddens as it allowed you to improve your players year to year and you could also play the games week to week to give a small boost to team ratings. These “Additions” are literally them recycling things that they took out and repurposing as new
Really excited about the pressure 2K and Max FB has put on EA. It’s been 10+ years of exclusivity and mediocre games, almost want to buy this years game because of the improvements after 3 years of being away.

@@deon3133My guy I'm 38 years old any around my age knows when there were 2 football games out back the day it freaked EA out. Proof just to make sure folks bought madden they cut the price and did more to improve the game in 2005 last time another game was out. NCAA was more popular then Madden back in 2000s also. Coincidence NCAA coming back though not top tier there have been other football games out. Madden 24 all da sudden looking like real work been done to uplift the game not up sell. 😏😏😏

Have they adjusted position groupings? Like, are OLBs and DEs still separated, or is there an Edge designation? They’ve been out of touch with this for like 8 years

That’s not saying anything. I’ve been a franchise fanatic since 2014, its been nothing but incredibly terrible. Just because you add limited unpolished features that previous older titles had done better, does not mean you should be praising these clowns. Honestly, FIFA and 2K Franchise make Madden’s look like a complete joke.

I still wish they’d add generated stats for draft prospects like 2k shows when looking at a mock draft. it gives the premise they we looking at college stats more so than just attributes

As it pertains to 5th yr options I’m hoping they allow you to see a players stats before making you make a choice. Also hoping they streamlined the trade block so that you don’t have to come out and go to every team one by one to see contract status. So much time in this game is wasted backing out of menus to get info that should be easily available.

I think they should involve scandals and off the field incidents for players and rookies. Adding a whole new dynamic when trading or drafting
You do know this is a family friendly game, right? lol. Don't really need my 8 year old crying that his wide receiver was involved in a incident with 71 masseuses' and is going to court for sexual misconduct.
You can tell competition is on the way. Not a franchise guy but this has my interest
Losing that exclusivity soon and 2K chomping at the bit I'm sure, plus if Maximum Football works out as well then that bodes well for us
if this is their answer to the competition they already lost. They still have a ways to go and one major set back they'll always have is being animation based as that'll never change. All the things they RE-ADDED were long overdue and the things they tweaked (coverage, O line etc) look promising. BUT Let's wait till we have our hands on the game before we give EA any type of praise.

@@teedotfoster I haven't really been keeping up with maximum football news I lagged behind. But even tho this is the internet, I'll take your word for it especially since u play madden. I got hopes for Max Football and even more hope for if 2k finally gets a go at it.
They kind of just brought back what was already in Madden before they took it out. I hope this game will be good.
They need to bring back commentary on draft day. It's just dead and everybody is standing around like zombies. They need to add more life back into the draft even halftime shows something. Come on madden
Usually when it comes to Madden its a "Thats great!!! If it works " situation.
That draft position strengthening sounds Awesome...if it works of course.
They need to add the realistic affect a generational QB has on the team around them. If you have or draft a future hall of fame QB, the ratings of your WR, OL, RB, ect, should go up with them on the field. Who goes up and how much should depend on the type of QB. Example, you have Peyton Manning, your O-line should be able to pick up a blitz better, your WR should run better routes and have better catching attributes. Which leads me to my next point. There needs to be a chemistry factor for players. The longer players stay with the same team, the better there chemistry should be with that team and hence their performance. These are the changes we need. This will encourage people to keep and develop players, put more emphasis on certain players and the impact they have on the team. I know they tried that last year with the mentor, but that really needs to be expanded and built on.
That’s kinda what ability’s do. Some QB’s have protected so they get better pass blocking.
I want an "NFL Eras" mode. NBA 2K23 has a god-like "NBA Eras" mode letting you play in 1984, 1991, 2002 and current day. Why can't EA do this for the NFL in this game?

As someone who hasn't played madden in a while this is crazy to me. You used to be able to create whatever uniform you wanted.
This sounds sick. So now if I choose a team that needs a qb I can put that at strong and actually have a cool storyline to follow
Been waiting for training camp fun games to comeback in forever. Simulation?of course and that comes with presentation and real life details that determine the weekly nfl grind, but gotta add some “video game” like ideas that keep us on it.
Will it be easier to improve lower draft picks? Like how Brady was a second to last pick and ended up improving to being a world beater? And variety in sizes in draft? Say a 5’9 LB?

Every June/July Madden comes out sounding like they are gonna be making the best game ever…by the end of August we will see it’s still a shell of a game with shallow additions that ultimately will let us down…they are making steps in the right direction but until they create these additions well it will still feel like a waste of time and money. Hope this is the year I’m wrong.
So can we get stats and tendency info for opponents every week? With a menu to make our adjustments?

Allowance of co-op franchise mode online would be insane. My buddy and I just want to play a franchise on the same team, for example I play QB he plays a RB
What would be cool if EA could update would be like slower corners who have good zone but are really good tacklers that you can move to safety or receivers who are good at catching but can move to corner having like base 70 zone coverage… or like a huge defensive end who’s not a good rusher but has some hidden Oline stats… maybe a linebacker who can move to edge rusher or a QB who can move to TE who’s fast and can catch. Maybe a fast bruiser RB who moves to LB.

thank you my brother i did play the demo and it is very great game the gameplay is lot more freedom to do.
Do you think they’ll let you adjust player overalls and Dev traits in franchise BEFORE a fantasy draft? They took the ability to do that away last game and idk if that was an intentional change or if something was messed up. I do a Legends Franchise so editing players prior to the fantasy draft is essential
Are there new stadiums to choose from when rebuilding, also have they finally added your teams logo to the media screens of the new stadiums?
I love that they made so many changes to franchise this looks like one of the best franchise modes we’ve seen in a while for madden.

The only thing they need now in Madden is expansion where it can allow you to add multiple expansion teams.
I hope the addition of kicking mini games also means we can finally play as a kicker or punter in franchise mode

I am so happy that the franchise mode got an update with new cities to use but I'm still certainly about St. Louis, will we be able to have a logo in St. Louis? The last few years, we couldn't do anything with St. Louis when we did the relocation franchise. I am definitely going to pre-order this and make videos with this Madden with the previous Madden. This is what us Madden gamers want in the game
I just want to know, can we use For example, spread playbook or the West Coast playbook to match the schemes.

Not sure if you mentioned it or not but if you did I apologize in advance lol I would love for AI to try and trade for a pick or player you may have on you’re team rather than you having to put that player on trade block or offer up the draft pick if that makes sense. If I have the #1 overall pick for example and on draft day or before draft day the computer decide they want it and willingly make a strong offer on their own behalf that would be pretty cool
The return you got for the 1st overall pick is crazy low. I hope they've fixed that.

The only critique I have for the mini games is the pass rush one make it dummy as the qb casue the qb doesn’t get hit during practise

Scouting UI update was that they made it so you can flip between prospects without having to back out and go into the next one.

Hey Eric, idk if you'll see this, but do you still think the 2k arcade game is actually happening? It was announced way back in 2020, got delayed twice with barely any notice, and now its almost july with madden and maximum and even wild card Football starting to do press and STILL nothing. Im starting to think they cancelled it and just arent going to tell anyone.

What you heard is what’s in the game. They don’t usually add features and not discuss them in the trailers.
Booted up yesterday and was in the playoffs while the commentators were talking about attempting to keep players active due to injury prior to the post season.
I hope it allows to download draft classes every season in Madden 24 that would be cool!
Idk to me this all could’ve been in an update not to much has changed from CFM23 I wish they could allow the commish to edit the conference and divisions that would be cool . Oh and allow users to edit the current uniforms

The part about Fantasy Draft Order makes no sense. Fantasy drafts were already in a snake draft format, so what feature are they adding here?
I might actually buy this for the first time in five years. I purchased Madden 19 for PC, but still don't enjoy it as much as Madden 08 of NFL 2K5. This seems to bring back many of the features we've been missing in franchise for 16 years.

Everything u talked about that they changed are all good, but did they make the commentary better did they make halftime better by showing highlights from other games. During the draft do they tell you about the person that just been drafted. Another change i hope they changed is running out of coordinators offensive and defensive when you hit a curtain year!!!
And better scouting
They just did more this year then the past 3 maddens, they can only do so much in one year. I imagine they will keep building on it with college football coming out next year they are gonna want people to buy both games.
