I just found your channel last night. I love y’all❤️. I have lived in AR all my life. Presently in White county. I’m a cool weather camper. Fall is my favorite time. We had a camper trailer for a few years but sold it because my hubby and daughter are Not campers! They can’t live without technology. I’m 53 now and wanting to tent camp again. It’s been more than a few years since I did that. Your channel is perfect for me to learn what gear I need so I can get out in the woods myself! Thanks for the inspiration and help. Now to binge watch RUclips Dome Life❤️
Perfect way to spend a Saturday evening. Blackened shrimp on the barbie, sipping our fav bourbon (Buffalo Trace), and watching Some Life. We are almost caught up to being currant with you. It's been a really fun journey. BTW Cody, I think you should do an entire vlog as Aussie speaking Crocodile Cody and do a wildlife vlog
lol when you both look at each other and Bowing like princess 🤣🤣 i love watching your videos while I draw it’s very relaxing and good for killing some time while I wait for class :) (A beginner at drawing lol)
Amazing VLOGS guys! Loved every minute of this episode! I’m so happy for you guys! Your hard work is showing your channel to be better and better every time we watch! Your going on to be successful!! Congratulations!
Thanks for highlighting the New Orleans area. Everybody knows about the French Quarter and Bourbon Street but things like hiking and biking aren't mentioned very much. Safe travels and come back soon !
I'm new to your channel and I just love it! I like how you guys go off the beaten path to camp on many trips. I think its good to get some much needed peace and relaxation and hear and experience the sounds of nature. New Orleans is, I'm told a foodies paradise so I'm glad you took us along for your culinary experiences. Kellie you are such a creative cook especially using a camping stove. I also like to cook so I really enjoy the cooking portion of your videos. Cody I'm scared of snakes good to know they want to get away from us ! Ending the video with the the historic St. Louis Cathedral was a great close to your New Orleans adventure.
The comite trail in Baton Rouge is totally worth it if you guys are near there another time. Surprisingly technical for flat Louisiana. Use to ride it at least once a week when I lived there!
Love this! Been watching y’all’s videos for a little bit and we just went camping in the ozarks this weekend (from Virginia) my one daughter is super afraid of snakes and I’m gonna make her watch this tomorrow for educational purposes 😆
Okay here's the tip how to have Beignets anywhere. Original Grands biscuit rolled out to 1/8 of an inch or 1/4 of an inch at the most they won't draw up. Cut them fried them only for a moment in hot grease and flip them. Repeat. As soon as they come out of the grease hit them with the powdered sugar. That would be a quick easy and amazing breakfast camping
I really love the beautiful forests and the bayou that Louisiana has to offer. I remember the fact that Hurricane Katrina caused a lot of damage because there weren't enough trees to soak up the water and therefore flooded. I think should always do our best to take care of the Earth, no matter where we are like recycling, reusing materials and limit water when we're not using it.
Welcome to Louisiana. We are laid back here, just sit out on the bayous and fish doesn't really matter how many we catch. Haven't been to new orleans since the early 1980's, just not a city person.
I grew up going crabbing with my dad at the end of that long gravel road at the bonnet carre spillway. Just moved to hot springs, ar last month excited to start exploring the ouachita forest 🌲
I absolutely love yalls channel. Kellie YOU are an amazing cook. What seasoning did you put on your potatoes? Y’all have really inspired us to get out and go camping. We recently bought a lil tent camper (Time Out) that my husband will pull behind his motorcycle. Weare going to take it out for the first time this coming up weekend. Super excited. Would love to meet y’all one day. We love Arkansas. ~Treca
I thought it was entertaining watching the whole little scene with the guy and the girl by their truck...was he flipping off the drone?? I think😂. Their body language said they didn't appreciate drones. I used to flip drones off. But now I am more accepting because I know how useful they can be. With photography. My brother told me recently that some law enforcement places use drones to check a scene out before they send a car. What's next? Here is yet another place that I would not have thought of as fun to visit. You guys made it interesting... and that food!! Great trip!
Ha, I wondered the same thing! I noticed though that they may not eat much lunch because they never show it so maybe they have a large bfast, snacks or skip lunch, then a regular dinner. That would be the way to go if you are camping to save the hassle of a fire/cooking for lunch! Great video! I enjoyed the Louisiana views (that church is beautiful) and also the foods you showed. It motivated me to look up some cajun recipes!
As always, loved your video; and that was a great place to camp so you can explore New Orleans. I have a question, though: If your tent was still wet from dew (or even, worse, rain), and you had to leave, how do you guys handle that type of situation, especially if there is a long (2 or 3 days) ride home before you can air everything out? Definitely wouldn’t want a moldy tent.
If we are camping the next night somewhere else we just pack it up wet then pull it back out. Eventually it will dry. We just try not to pack it away wet and leave it for days.
@@CodyandKellie Makes sense; and thanks so much for getting back to me about this. We’ll just have to find a way in those kinds of situations. For example, after a camping trip we have planned this May, we are going directly to stay with my in-laws in their condo/home. (I know; bad planning, but campsite reservations can’t be changed. Next time, camping trip comes after family visit!) So, the in-laws say that they have a little room for airing out stuff, and then the rest can go to another relative’s home where there’s a yard we can use. Camping has definitely been a learning experience for us, but you guys have definitely inspired us. Thank you for all you do.
Hey there! My husband and I recently got cots for our tent but we’ve noticed they are wet after being in the tent over night. Have y’all ever had this happen with your cots? If so how can we prevent it :)
Lol! We get that question a lot. We’re constantly getting stuff out or putting stuff in. So to limit the sound of doors slamming we just leave them open
@@CodyandKellie well, there ya go. Oh and howdy from Tucson. It was cool seeing my city on RUclips and how much you guys enjoyed the Sonoran desert. I kinda live vicariously through your vids getting to camp out everywhere. LOL!
Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge! I am 62 years old and you make history interesting.

I really enjoy watching your videos. You both looked great all dresses up.
I live in Louisiana and I didn't know about that woodlands conservancy place. That armadillo was so cute standing up on his hind legs!
15:28 🤣 Pretty good accent there Cody!

Hello from New Mexico 👍❤️ both of you are looking awesome..😊
Your videos always puts me in a good mood. It looks beautiful there.
Really enjoy y’all’s videos, I live in Louisiana so it’s pretty cool to see this.
Love all your videos! I don't get out of Michigan very often. MI is beautiful, but you guys have definitely inspired me to venture out more.

Chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, oregano. Thanks for watching
New Orleans is not even close to Arkansas when it comes to fun places, but I’m sure y’all will find a way to to have fun down there!

Some people do not understand that drones are used for that reason.
The crawfish hole is called a tower
My wife and I would like to know if you two eat all that food you cook at one sitting
Sometimes we do
@@CodyandKellie We like watching your adventures and when I see that you have a new episode I tell the wife the kids are on

Lol. Love it!
We do skip lunch. Only when we go on a long hard hike/MTB/kayak adventure do we eat a snack. Thank you for your kind words!
Those moccasins get mean as hell! I've had them charge at me here in NW Florida on my paddleboard,,,slithery little bastards!
Wow beautiful church. Can’t believe it was built in the 1700’s.

Yes. We have the same problem. We just pull them out and let them dry before putting away.
Next trip stay at Madison ville
jazzy Na'leans music
I noticed you guys have your car doors open, like all of them, most of the time in your videos. I was wondering why??
