Roadmap for Learning
* Top-Down Approach: Build a project first, then learn the theory.
* Open Source Contribution: It's essential for understanding industry standards.
* Twitter Showcasing: An underrated way to get noticed.
* Targeting Early-Stage Startups: Show them how you can add value.
If I don't know the theory then how can I build project??
copy and learn side by side, from already built projects@@shahbazansari623
@@shahbazansari623same question
Hey, thanku for this summary!
@@shahbazansari623 His answer is vague. What you should do is,
1. Know the basics i.e, data types, arrays, loops etc.
2. Pick a basic project i.e, ToDo etc.
3. Stuck somewhere? Google or use any AI tool to understand concept around it.
4. Repeat with another project (Complexity should be higher than previous one)
Wow, thanks man, that Top down approach is really going to help me build my AI based project in the final year I was so worried thinking I had to start learning from the scratch but this is a great perspective to begin with !
Was not here for 5 crore roadmap. Was here for any advice I can get. The best one for me was to look at open source projects. I have not yet done so other than few times. All of the ones I saw were overwhelming to me will all the tests, two dozen config files, docker, ci cd actions and so much more jargon. Also I now know that I am lacking feedback for my personal small projects from seniors in the field.
What type of small projects have you built?
@@ratansharma7118 Mostly Frontend only, like landing pages, weather app nowadays starting to make simple backend projects like simple realtime multiplayer game and url shortener

Although most companies require python3 and ml, their interviewers are still asking questions heavily and only about c++/java dsa
Thank you so much for this. After seeing this I feel I can also do this.
Hey Harkirat, love every aspect of your videos. Keep em coming…
I noticed you've got a lot of foresight about the direction in which the industry is going. Can you pls make a video on the channels you use to stay updated on all the tech news?
Really helpful video. I am trying the Top-Down approach for a while now. It's really difficult for me. Because till now my approach has always been Bottom-Up, perfecting the basics and then going for the advanced. But it's very time consuming, and as Mr Singh said it's a beginner's hell.
casual way but effective and relatable , thank u
i am just obsessed with your content!
i can't belive that anyone can have dare to share these. you are jam, thanks.
I was skeptical about the video but you really gave a decent picture
Thank you so much for the video sir and please keep making similar ones according to the trends for foreign remote internships/jobs.
Damn thats motivation we need ! Money always motivates me no mtter what

Can someone please clarify my query- These days I see Data Engineering tools requirement for Data Science roles? So what are some of the important data engineering tools required for data science. Also how much MLOPS is required for fresher to 3YOE roles? Also do we need to learn Web development to integrate our AI services
Thanks for the twitter, and the most important build projects that scale beyond 10 peoples.

Thank you, big bro as a 1st sem student I will keep everything in mind

Question: As a dotnet developer can i join your (Advanced Backend, System Design ) course
4:50
Absolutely yes, DSA is the very boring thing to do.
Few months ago, I went for an interview for frontend developer vacancy and in interview he didn't ask any question related to React and JavaScript with me . He just gave me a Problem regarding Recursion and I didn't even start learning DSA before that so I failed . After that I decided to learn DSA and still I don't have any kind of interest in DSA even after knowing the market reality.
Then leave the programming side bro look for the skill which u r interested in maybe UI UX....it will help you grow in long run
But it exists today also, you have to learn DSA while applying in more than 85% of companies
Dsa is building block of cs
did u get any job?
from where to get list of early stage startups where we can apply??
Your all videos are awesome 😊
This roadmap seems applicable to game industry right? I want to be a Game Developer btw!

Hi harkirat Should I join the Dev cohert 0 - 100 now or it too late to join the course now ?? Please let me know i am absolute beginner
Kirat Bhai u said Be a specialist then As as a college Student Should one focus on being good at only frontend or backend or devops Or Like Do FullStack and be good at that what is better

Can you please make a video for people who are already experienced and want to get remote jobs?
Especially I would like to know
1.if they don't have open source contributions but a solid experience, is it still necessary to do open-source contributions?
2. If someone is already getting paid 25 - 40 LPA, how much salary should they expect in remote jobs.
I second that!
Your content is great
I belongs to a village and now I shifted to Gugrugram for the job opportunities. So Now should I do a Remote Job or do an in-office job.
How should we search for startups based on specific tech?
I knew Solidity and can build some simple projects around it left it due to some health issues but my knowledge of mern is shit,I joined cohart 2-3 days ago currently completing backlogs from 0.I will try catching up side by side I am again learning Solidity. In next 1-2 year I just want a decent internship as I am preparing for jee which has been going completely shit.In my drop year I was completely alone.Loneliness caught up to me but cohart gave me something to be excited for. Thanks Harkirat for that ❤️
Isn't web3 blockchain died? What's your take on that?
@@fg-ki4nx nope see the graph of Solana in the last 1 year it went from 10dollars to 111 dollars Bitcoin and eth is recovering too
@@fg-ki4nxnothing d1es ever trust me, if you got conviction for a tech and you're interested enough you should do it now matter what. Heck even pho Dev's are making tons still after its apparent "death"
If you have learnt solidty then pick few chain Eth , Polygon etc then learn how to deploy your smart contract there.
Then try to look at the backend part a bit of grpc and Web3 js, and then learn more things concepts around blockchains , how scaling up chain works different approach , then I will suggest learning more of consensus mechanism actually that is what differentiate a blockchain from other , read something white paper , see some of their implementation.
Finally build some project ask chatGpt to suggest some , make sure some are bit useful to startups or people in general , or write some blings along with that.
How can you prove that you are the top 1% of your skills? One of my fears is someone will have the same project as me...

Hey folks! I'm a second-year cybersec student, diving into DSA, Fullstack, and all that jazz. Feeling a bit lost-should I stick to the core cybersec stuff like networking and pentesting for a good job, or go all-in on being a jack of DSA and other skills? What's the sweet spot here

How about bottom up approach better than recursion
Hey Harkirat!
I have learn HTML CSS JavaScript Tailwind React electron(mainly frontend)and have a hand on experience in projects, should I dive into web3, or should do backend and devops first,if yes then how much experience should I have or which jargons should I familiar from?
Hey how much time you spent to learn all this
Do backend and devops, web 3 is a scam, also learn the cloud fundamentals
Going into a niche like web3 as a beginner is not advisable, i am surprised u are even thinking about it without doing backend part. Learn backend , improve both frontend and backend snd then devops. Then u can think about web3. For basic knowledge about web3 u can always learn anytime

iam an aspiring Full stack developer and It seems like DSA challenges are more the norm.
i was Wondering if i can make it in interviews relying solely on development skills without studying DSA at all? I totally hate DSA!!..What's your take?
You can "make it" to interview rounds relying solely on your resume's projects (assuming they are industrial level/highly innovative projects) but you probably won't make it past that. The reason is "How do they measure your problem-solving skills?".
Sure, you can be commanded to a beautiful frontend or build a robust backend, but what if you run into a problem, you have never faced before (which is going to happen if you manage to crack a product-based company). Do you have what it takes to think your way out of this head-hitting problems? How is the recruiter supposed to measure that?
You might answer, " Well I will learn how to do that by completing a few real-life based projects from the ed-tech creators much like Harkirat."
The thing is, project building tutorials/videos are excellent cause they provide us, students, with the norm that veterans/industry experts like Harkirat or Phillip Lackner keep in mind whilst coding, but you never get to the depth of the well cause for you the water is available right at the top. These experts grinded hours and hours to level themselves up and this sort of thinking to solve a new problem or as we call it in the industry, "they improvised their problem-solving skills."
So why DSA? DSA are not just some random CS concepts which are bound to be impractical for something like software engineering. No, most CS concepts including DSA have been designed in order to get your brain thinking along the right path. In order to develop that pattern recognition and error solving mechanism of your own, you need to grind hard on Leetcode.
It may be a harsh reality, but it is true. DSA is crucial for you to be able to think of designing a product in an efficient manner so that it can scaled and extended easily in future. That's what differentiates an average software engineer from a good one.
What Kirat meant here when he said, "DSA isn't essential" is "DSA is not enough". In this hypercompetitive job market, everyone is expected to have more than decent problem-solving skills even for a low-paying 9-5 job role. So, DSA is not the only key factor as it used to be. Nowadays, you need to have a handy skillset ready in order to be employable.
All in all, grind Leetcode, do some projects, understand the underlying concepts and keep asking 'why' and you are set-up for success.
@@amlan7502 Thank you so much for taking your time to share the insights.
Considering your valuable advice, I've decided to start learning DSA from scratch. If you don't mind, could you provide me with a step-by-step approach to get started? I would love to follow a path that has worked well for others.
how about cyber security
300k is done bro congrats
