The stress can take a toll on your mental and physical health. You are blessed to have each other, so you are not going through this situation alone. Look for the light at the end of the tunnel. I lived in the French Quarter for 7 years - Everyone loves a "behind-the-scence" visual/education/history about New Orleans. Voo-Doo - Congo Square - the non-white washed tours of the near by plantations. (Oak Alley is the worst.) Etc,. You're living in one of the most amazing cities in the US - do a deep dive.

I said it before and say it again, having friends born and raised in Mexico that will not go back even to visit relatives, I will not go! Was explained how much has changed with the cartel/sex trafficking/ etc. When I asked about your van issue and said long gone since fixed up like that, not a CB normal van.

I was very nervous for the you 3. Life is so short and I love the way you all share your lives and understand maybe removing Mexico from your bucket list.

Oh wow! Mérida to Nola is just a 2 hr flight. Meetups, we have always wanted to do those. We wanted to host trips outside the US or in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. NOLA LOVE! Don't give up on travels. Rent a mini can or large suv buy a bluetti or jackery take it back and use a tent. I know it's not a van but don't let them win and steal what makes you both happy and that's traveling. This suggestion can not make up for the van but it can bring hope and joy back in your lives. The STATES have so much to see and do. Praying for you two.
1. BLOG morning walks in the park or workouts
2. Video awesome spots to visit in New Orleans. This alone should give a couple awesome videos.
3. You can make video's of your past travels giving advise on places to stay, things to do and routes to take that have scenery.

I subscribed to your channel weeks ago because your stolen van story showed up on my feed. I too have a RUclips van channel (I’m doing van life differently by solely working in my van) and it saddens me to hear that this has happened to you. I also pray that you get Nola back. Anyway, the purpose of me commenting is to encourage you to continue your YT channel. Maybe sometime soon do a short intro to all of your future videos so newcomers know exactly who you are and the new direction of your channel. (See my channel intro for an example). Maybe say something like, “We’re Tenaj & Tino, and for the past _____ years we’ve been traveling in our van named Nola until she was taken from us by the Mexican authorities. Come along on our journey as we rediscover the beauty of Louisiana until we can retrieve and reunite with our van.”…

This is just a thought. As you go to invites or just to places, they have bikes you can rent, maybe video your ride. If you have a go pro, put it on your bike helmet. Suggestion getting a Uhaul van or something similar for your Florida trip, going back to the basics air mattress, cooler, a couple of fans, a camp stove, and potty bucket it might be cheaper. Your interactions with other youtubers. Is there ex-military.current militarys RV/Vanlife communities? What were your previous careeer specialties? Not like technical, like were you the go getter, compasionate one, etc. What do you like to watch? What are your currrent hobbies when stuck inside? How often do you check in with family and friends? How do you edit? Try unusual activities in Nola. Different ways to transportation in Nola? Boata? Love you. if there is $$, why not rebuild a Van to sell or use if your current van is out for a while. Different grateful/favorite things about people,. places, hobbies, etc. visit community groups and volunteer for the day. More time with Gypsy. You arer so positive when you talk about anything, i just love your style, edit, music, So, just love to spend any time with y'all. I binge watched everything. I have been watching all of the other videos you guys have posted over the years. I’m *AMAZED* with all of the great videos & how you guys have consistently replied to *ALL* of the comments on each video over the years. *RUclips OWES* you guys big time IMHO! They have literally kept your channel hidden. I watch a lot of RUclips videos (it’s the only social media I use) and it pisses me off that YT failed you guys! You sound like an expert which is also great and gives insight to us and others about how YT really works! 🚨8 months ago I spoke to YT tech support about our channel being broken or something because it wasn’t working for us. He sounded concerned and looked into our channel account, it all looked normal. He too was impressed about our channel but didn’t see a technical issues. 😔
@@TenajTino - 👍🤩Ooooh I have studied YT. My whole career has been marketing & sales. You guys have done a lot of things right. There is no rhyme or justifiable viable reason why you guys haven’t had more subscribers and YT success. You guys were on the Tamron Hall show for goodness sakes!
I have a suggestion for you to take some of your older videos, like the Istanbul & Turkey videos, (that red you guys wore was beautiful - especially Tenaj’s dress) and the cute monkey video that was on Tenaj’s shoulder (or which ever ones you want to take a snippet from - not just a YT Short) and slightly modify them and repost them with a new title as a new video. Like “How much does it cost to live in Turkey” or “Does Turkey like visitors from the USA?” Or is Malaysia dangerous” (you guys went out in the middle of the night to eat because of the jet lag with no problem). It creates new traffic to your channel. Leave the old video up because you can post a link to it from the new modified video to drive traffic. 😉 Also, YT likes controversy & don’t be afraid to do a little clickbait like everybody else (I hate clickbait, but I understand it). 😂
Great tips, we have spoken about content like this and we hope it will take off with our new fan base, but also worried they wanna see new stuff and not rehashed videos. We too thought the Tamron Hall show would do something, but it didn’t, May a very small bump back then but this van issue has brought on more. Praying for your van to be returned to you. Also, I wanted to share that my daughter middle name is pronounced the same as Tenaj but just spelled different (Tanajh)

I know someone right now driving all over central Mexico with no TIP. Fingers crossed he doesn't end up in your shoes. The TIP and also Mexican insurance are the two things I'd never ever travel here without because YES they can confiscate your vehicle if you get caught. It's in their laws....no scam about it.

Keeping you two in prayers. I think you two will get your van back; otherwise, Mexico is going to lose a lot of tourism $$$$ behind this coming to the forefront. I will never visit Mexico again. I went once 20 years ago & the hotel managers pulled a fast one on my friend & I by stealing out out of our luggage. They lied & said they could not find our reservation, then insisted we put our luggage in a closet to hold until they sort things out. It was a 5 star hotel. Miraculously they found our reservation, we went to our room to shower, change, & hit the streets. My friend noticed a pair of new shoes were missing. I swore her down she left them home. She went down stairs, confronted them, they denied it, she went to the front door lobby telling every guest not to fall for the prank & keep their luggge with them at all times. OMG! The manager ran to the door with her shoes & begged her to stop & go to her room. I WAS BAFFLED. Upon returning home to Miami, Florida, I noticed my black Chanel Bomber Jacket from the 80's was missing; I wore it on the flight to Cancum Mexico. 😢😢😢

~ ⭐️since you guys grew up there & New Orleans has a lot offer…do a bunch of New Orleans videos. The city is considered the birthplace of jazz. New Orleans is also known for its Creole and Cajun food, including po' boys, gumbo, jambalaya, and beignets. Where to find the best beignets etc. The city also has a vibrant cocktail culture and many museums and attractions.
You guys are used to it because you’ve been around it your whole life but do a video like when you go to other places like your Turkey trip for example. Cover the attractions, architecture, old houses, local folktales & stories, places to visit, places to get certain food, places to go dancing, French Quarter, Bourbon Street & history, Mardi Gras & history, the different hotels and the parking situation, how to avoid getting towed in the city, should visitors rent a car or take public transit, as well as other suggestions for visitors, what the locals dislike about visitors, how the *locals are sports fanatics* and all of the crazy tailgating, how are things different in New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina, how are things different in New Orleans from when you guys were kids, who are major employers in New Orleans and the surrounding areas that help New Orleans and it’s citizens thrive (maybe this can be a whole series)

After the recent murder of three gentlemen in Baja and shortly after seeing your video re: the van story 🙄😡………I have cut Mexico off my travel list. The graft with public officials, the cartels….. just the overall creepy environment is enough for me. I have spent many vacations in Mexico over the years. I have always enjoyed them but I did very little sightseeing. Mainly because we were always warned about areas not to go to etc. The “taking of your van” is unacceptable. All they needed to do was see your You Tube channel to see that you posed no threat. Best of luck. ❤️🙏

@@TenajTino I have had bad experiences being pulled over by the cops in Georgia and seeing the same thing happen to dozens of black drivers all along the highway. You have to be blind not to notice it. I don’t like that. And I don’t go where I don’t feel welcome. But that’s my choice.

Haven't been back to NO since Katrina, did pass through on the highway once years ago and saw some Xs on some of the houses in the ward probably was about 5 years after the devastation headed to TX, do really wonder how the city has changed from a local stand point who knew the city prior to Katrina 🤔

How about since you are now in this healthier living timeline you do a what we eat in a day along with a non gym workouts that dont require excesive work. Show us how you keep fit when you dont go to the gym, how you keep your body moving and how you eat to support that. There are so many ways to eat when supporting the body through a transition like this I thought you could share. Hey guys sorry find out about your van situation praying for you.... For ideas we share some things we enjoy you may be good at. How about some destination blogging see (carpet bagger, or grim life etc....or like the German in Venice, also there is always some garage sale bargain shopping people enjoy watching couples do that. Don't take much now adays to entertain people. You done the hard part that's building a small but yet still a following......Also remember always record the police, never trust them, it may be the only thing that stands between the truth and their stories.
