Thanks for watching Fallout New Vegas everyone, Oppenheimer has now defeated New Vegas. You can watch the finished series here: ruclips.net/p/PLliBvQE3gg9dC55Jxdhsmo_UIiDkw6z-5
What a wild ride this was, do you think we’ll ever see any of fallout 3 perhaps or is there not as much interest in that one for you? Either way I’m happy with what we’ve seen here, especially seeing you so passionate about something like this
It’s late into my shift, guarding one of the doors in an NCR facility. The wife is sick at home and I need the money. A man in a suit walks by, coming from the administrators office and through the door I’m guarding. I sigh. Bored, depressed, and ready to go home, I simply mutter to myself. “Patrolling the Mojave makes you wish for nuclear winter.” The man suddenly stops walking. Backing up, he looks me in the face. “You just had to say it”. I notice a small device in his hand a millisecond too late, as suddenly everything explodes, and it all fades to black before I could feel the pain. ------------------ I suddenly snap back to reality. Everything is fine, the man who exploded is muttering something angrily to himself as he walks away. I rest my head in my palm, and wonder what the hell I just felt.
One day, an elderly man approaches you. he introduces himself as "Easy Pete" and asks if you'd talk to him later that night. "It's serious" he declares. but what stops you from ignoring his request is one word, whispered into your ear. "Oppenheimer." You don't know the name, yet it sends a shiver of primordial fear down your spine. You find him later that night. And he tells you of the unspeakable horrors he's experienced, visions, nightmares. Himself, dying countless times. Sometimes its an explosion. In the past, just a bullet. But the worst was the searing, burning light of radiation. From anyone else's lips, you would think it madness. But the man tells you that every time, there is one thing that always remains the same. A man in a suit, with a gaze like burning fallout. "The devil walks among us," Easy Pete says. "And he has our souls in his grasp". He leans in. "And for some reason... when I think of him, all I can see is Ireland. Ireland, and that burning light."
It's made even funnier with the ending slide at 53:04 where he was honored with the highest civilian decoration they can give. Like imagine being an NCR trooper who somehow survived John Oppenheimer's terror across the Mojave, devoting your life to getting revenge on this chaotic courier, only to find that he was given a medal for helping out in one battle. I'd love to read a story based on that, just to get more of Oppenheimer's chaos 💀💀
RT was right, Oppenheimer is a very calm and considerate man when engaging combat, he only lost his cool and nuked only a few thousand people, and opened only a few rifts the timeline to take out his anger on bystanders/Easy Petes. And most importantly he singlehandedly saved the wild Easy Pete populations in the end
After the rousing final speech of President Kimball, the Easy Petes migrated back to Goodsprings, all teleporting to their rocking chair at once. And while the folk of Goodsprings took a while adjusting to this single minded hive, they reveled in the large amount of dynamite and security they brought. And raiders (and a couple dozen Easy Petes in the process) would meet there untimely demise while hearing one unified war cry: *"B A S T A R D"* Sadly for Goodsprings, they did not realise that Easy Pete had become an Easy Parasite and slowly but surely, everyone in town became Easy Pete. They now live peacefully sitting all on one chair simultaneously, ever watching the sky for their one true fear: of John Oppenheimer's rain of nukes.
I always saw RT as the more reserved adult compared to other Irish RUclipsrs. But sometimes I'm reminded that he too is capable of chaos even greater than his peers, hidden behind a calm smile, tux and top hat. Looks truly are deceiving.
I think my favorite part of this series is that every “Patrolling the Mojave…” immediately results in a split timeline in which Oppenheimer gave in to his base instincts and unleashed devastation upon what little remains of the world.
After John Oppenheimer’s many adventures across the Mojave, he's finally achieved his goal of becoming Death, Destroyer of Worlds causing the nuclear winter in the aftermath and despite making many allies, enemies and Easy Pete’s, John Oppenheimer always knew his actions would lead to a fallout... *Fallout: New Vegas.*
in love with how shooting a nuke out of an energy weapon still activates the explosions from the meltdown perk. like the vast quantities of heat generated by the laser detonator nukes are turning people into plasma as they die
The entire basis of Dan's playthrough is to break "Fallout: New Vegas (2010)" over his knee, and yet he shows considerably more respect to the game than many others. Obviously, this isn't his first time playing, but I find it just a little upsetting how many other streamers choose to blitz through the exploration, quests, and characters of New Vegas without giving them much consideration, treating the game more like a cheap power fantasy. There's always something lost when you play a game for others and not yourself. But once again, this is where RTGame always seems to shine. A perfect synergy between the viewer and the man himself, getting to experience a game on practically the same wavelength.
I especially loved when he took the time to point out small story details most people would miss, like how he went through all the terminals in Honest Hearts to read the hidden story, or how he pointed out some of the connections between the DLC stories. It's very clear that he loves this game a lot and it's reflected in the way he interacts with the story, even when he's igniting a chain reaction of exploding Easy Petes :)
Dude truly has a gift at absolutely breaking the game while simultaneously giving you a thorough and loving tour of all it has to offer. He's that childhood older brother type that puts on his favorite video game, gives you a big if slightly deranged grin, and says "watch this" before raining absolute fucking Armageddon on the NPC populace with the power of exploits and sheer wit. Fucking love to see rt being a chaotic mix of deranged psychopath and cool guy to the NPCs
Seeing Dan play a game he loves is always a treat. He goes out of his way to show off so many little details most people won't ever see and it really shows how much he enjoys the game because of it.
Yeah, its called "WIshes Come True" If an npc says the dreaded line, an Boomer artillery strike will hit the npc with an mini-nuke. Even if they're indoors

Fun fact there actually is a nearly perfectly intact B-29 at the bottom of lake mead in Nevada, it was gathering weather data above the lake and the surface was so glassy that the pilot didn’t notice they were so close until they splashed down. The wreck has been preserved so well due to the fresh water, but invasive mollusks have taken over the airframe and are slowly eating it

Don't think I'll ever get tired of RT dropping a warhead onto his feet, watching the faction disposition changes pop up in rapid speed as the light fades away to show Oppenheimer's torso flying into the sky. Like "yeah FUCK that guy what a dick" they say as they point to a hunk of meat.
Im surprised that the NCR even needed the Brotherhood to patrol the highways, since they have a madman with an automatic nuke launcher who can just carpet bomb the whole length of the highway on a whim.
Once the battle of Hoover Dam concluded, and the NCR celebrated in believing they had achieved total victory against the Legion, they finally gained word of what had happened to their home turf. As quickly as total control over the Mojave came, it once again slipped from their grasp, as they could not maintain their hold on the land forever without the aid and supplies from back home. The remnants of the NCR quickly fell apart as they attempted to decide who was in charge, and they were scattered to the sands of the wasteland. As General Lee Oliver prepared to retreat to parts unknown to try and recover whatever remained of the NCR's power, he was heard to say but a single thing, before disappearing into the wasteland, never to be seen again. "Damn you, John Oppenheimer." And thus, with both the NCR and the Legion completely decimated with no hopes of recovery, and all major power players in the Mojave eliminated, the wasteland was freed from those who would attempt to make it their own. It was all thanks to a single man, the Courier, that the wastelands would finally know true independence, with the declaration of their freedom being as follows "And now I am become death, destroyer of worlds. I love this series so much and literally smile and giggle like a middle schooler whenever a new video comes out. It's fun to watch you play games you know nothing about, because it feels a lot like me playing games I know nothing about, but there's something special about your playthroughs of games you know really well. You get to show us all the cool glitches and weird loopholes and special things you can do with this game if you play everything just right, and that's the kind of stuff you'll never see in a normal playthrough. And it's clear you're having so much fun playing this game, it's impossible not to have fun watching it. Your joy is infectious and it makes me smile every time. Thank you (and Cloe!) for editing and posting these wonderful playthroughs, and I hope you keep going for many many years, because I will be here as long as you do. RT, this little series and the Minecraft one have been some of your funniest and most enjoyable works yet. No one can make me smile so constantly in an almost hour long video, plus your game knowledge and trivia bits are superb. Keep up the amazing work!
i havent played new vegas nor do i know anything about it, but it baffles me that killing one guy suddenly forgives the nuclear armageddon that you brought to the ncr and the legion. what the hell did benny do
Sad that it's over but thankful for the very amazing and amusing trip down memory lane RT, forgot how much this game meant to me and seeing things even now I never knew about shows how timeless this experience actually is.
Would have been better with a no gods no masters ending. The ending would be like the Mr. Grinch song, but about the NCR, where it's just a long dis track. If I were dan, I'd do one more completing some side character stuff and genuinely desolating the NCR in every way.
The _best_ No Gods No Masters route is to string along all the factions until _just before_ they disown you (like how the autocompletion of The House Always Wins _IV_ locked out NCR, but The House Always Wins III would have been safe), then backstab the lot of them and go Yes Man at the last moment. No Bear, no Bull, no House, only Courier.
@@WackoMcGoose Absolutely. What I really love about the yes man route is the community building around Vegas. Helping Westside, freeside, and Red's place was always my favorite part. It feels bad after building up all these small communities to sell them off to the NCR for "the highest civilian praise".
im watching this video as i was trying to sleep, and i find it funny when everything is dark, and then i hear "wanna see something cool" brighting the entire room followed with bombs exploding
I'll be re-watching this series, over and over, for a very long time. Thank you for all the laughs btw. Not just in this series, but in everything you do.
This is my favorite series you have done. New Vegas is my favorite game of all time, so I may be a bit biased in saying that. I loved watching this series all the way through. I've never been a big person on the fallout series but it was a joy to watch. I'll savour the next hour as I watch Oppenheimer takes his seat as the Nuclear Lord of Death. Jingle Jangle.

"Why did I lose karma for that? He was already a vegetable, I'm just making him mashed potatoes"
P.S. did you know they used to call him the--
I love that he didnt even do the Yesman ending despite everything he did
RT, this little series and the Minecraft one have been some of your funniest and most enjoyable works yet. No one can make me smile so constantly in an almost hour long video, plus your game knowledge and trivia bits are superb. Keep up the amazing work!
**Actively killing hundreds of NCR** “I got spurs that jingle jangle jingle”
i havent played new vegas nor do i know anything about it, but it baffles me that killing one guy suddenly forgives the nuclear armageddon that you brought to the ncr and the legion. what the hell did benny do
6:17 Very nice of John Oppenheimer to collect his stuff after he turned himself into a starfish.
I always loved the detail that the Legion pronounces Caesar's name closer to what Latin scholars believe it would have been.
This is by far the best RTGame series, thank you for all the content especially now
Lovely series! I had a great time watching it. These long form RPG game videos are one of the tings that make your chennel really stand out.
RT really just said
let's use the entire modern day millitary arsenal to terrorize the townsfolk
Imagine watching a guy shove a mini nuke into a laser pointer and it spews an endless stream of mini nukes.
This truly was the, Fallout: New Vegas experience that we all had asked for
DANIEL PLEASE, YOU CANT JUST BLOW UP EVERY CHILD YOU COME ACROSS

When you quit your diet
I'm absolutely adoring this series and it has encouraged me to buy New Vegas. I am following your playthrough and going pretty well so far!
So, thanks RT!!
recommend you deviate a bit and go for a different ending, just to cover bases
Sad that it's over but thankful for the very amazing and amusing trip down memory lane RT, forgot how much this game meant to me and seeing things even now I never knew about shows how timeless this experience actually is.
The further adventures of Robert ‘the drift king’ Oppenheimer
ferb, i know what we are doing today.
50 mg explosive rounds with laser detonator
I love this game, and it was so fun to watch RT play it through.
SINCE WHEN COULD YOU FUCKING SHOOT THE VERTIBERD???
19:18 You take a sip from your trusty vault 13 canteen.
50 nukes per mag, how efficient
im watching this video as i was trying to sleep, and i find it funny when everything is dark, and then i hear "wanna see something cool" brighting the entire room followed with bombs exploding
I'll be re-watching this series, over and over, for a very long time.
Thank you for all the laughs btw. Not just in this series, but in everything you do.
This is my favorite series you have done. New Vegas is my favorite game of all time, so I may be a bit biased in saying that. I really appreciate how you took the time to show niche things even I didn't know about after all these years. Taking a slow approach and sometimes just letting the game speak for itself while. Your genuine love for this game shows in every episode. Big Love RT
I have a feeling that John Oppenheimer was complicit in the fate of Shady Sands right after the fight at Hoover Dam
I loved this series of RT just showing off his favorite things in this 14 year old game

LOOK AT 'EM GO!
5:11 the first explosion being synced to the music was godly
I’d love to see him play through the entirety of Fallout 3 too. Maybe Fallout 4, but that game has a much different feel to it imo.
the 100 easy petes never gets old, theres something cathartic about hearing his famous line "bastard"
I opened RUclips a minute ago seeking to something to cheer me up and whaddya know RT goes straight to nuke swapping chaos, couldn't have asked for anything better right now
Thank you so much for playing this on the channel RT. I had always hoped you would do a full playthrough
6:00 Wasn't expecting a LUvvUcy appearance!
I love every long series you do! As someone who can’t catch streams cause of work, the highlights are such a treat!
Remember, the House always Wins, unless you have a high luck stat and a gambling addiction
Man I fucking love New Vegas. One of the best games of all time. Crazy how much replayability it has.
All good things must come to an end. Such a wonderful series Dan.
All these nukes raining down make you wish you were patrolling the Mojave
I want a Skyrim series where he kills any guard that brings up the "Arrow in the Knee" line.
And then Oppenheimer returned to finish what he started, nuking the entire Mohave to hell and back, there were no survivors this time
Incredible series, please do other Fallout Games!
Thank you RT for making a series out of this wonderful, wonderful game, and bringing our atomic lord and saviour John Oppenheimer to live. It was a pleasure to watch, this game is truly a masterpiece.
A certified RtGame classic.
I hope we get remasters of Fallout 1, 2, and New Vegas at some point.
Not even a minute into the video and I'm already watching in horror and with a feeling of dread as you start performing the ammo swap glitch, muttering under my breath "what have you done" repeatidely
