    I was just enjoying Neil's technique there. His cueing is sooooo smooth and straight, making almost every shot so easy.

    Neil is one of my favorite players. Hes just been having an off time right now and it happens. He will pull out of it. He has a lot of years left in this game. Great video as usual stephen. Im one of the rare snooker players from the u.s. lol. Not sure why its not popular here. I wish it was.

    Robertson is the best potter when he's on like this. Great episode he's one of my favorites to watch, so strong and smooth stroke. More world titles for Robertson coming for sure.

    The major tv networks are missing a trick here....Mr Hendry presnting a new style big break game show, with his routines and Tough table challenge would be awesome

      Yeah, plus seeing snooker players far more relaxed lets us see the "characters" more. Can only help drive engagement in the tournaments, which will be desperately needed when Ronnie gives it up.

      Eh, it’s probably gaining more viewers online, younger people all stream stuff rather than watch live tv now. This is keeping snooker more modern. Would be nice if this channel/type of content was shouted out during some of the tv tournaments though.

      and Hendry two separate times brings up that he has to qualify for the Crucible in the middle of Neil's attempts in the first two challenges - and he crushes both still!

    Well played Neil, agree with others I'm amazed he hasn't had more world titles. Fantastic pool player too, which may just have helped him with a couple of these challenges, by seeing patterns more easily. That, coupled with his cue action and technique, one of the best out there. Hope he gets on well this year. Brilliant stuff on this channel, Stephen, keep up the great work.

      No. Unfortunately, he is playing the worst season of his career. If nothing changes, then he has no chance of winning the WSC.
      P.S. I'm huge fan of Neil.

      @@MrAlexAugur I think the important factor here is pointed out in your own comment "If nothing changes". If i've noticed anything about Snooker it's that someone can suddenly be playing what seems like their top game out of the blue. He has the skill in him so we're not talking about a player that hasn't shown the ability to get there. Obviously, it is harder when you aren't playing your best but never say never.

      He has to qualify first, 2 possibly 3 best of 19, just to get to the actual Crucible. Shocking to hear, am sure he will qualify and it would be an absolute nightmare if he failed, as its double points at the biggest tournament of the season.

    It's hard not to like Neil as a snooker personality. Such a down to earth bloke and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to other players. Top geezer

    What about this idea. The letter in the first challenge (currently S) should change depending on who wins it. So it should now be changed to N then other players can battle to try and change the letter. it could be tricky with some letters but would be fun.

    In terms of talking, being humble, and having a good laugh, Neil is just simply one of the best guys on tour! It‘s unfortunate that his game sometimes isn‘t as exciting, especially when he prolongs his shot time but he‘s an amazing character for the game!

    What a great player, Neil is and yet so few titles. It just shows you how small the margins are between success and failure are when you play at their level.

    Great video, some interesting chat too. I love Neil, not only a great snooker player, but says it how it is. He will be back winning again soon I am sure, and maybe qualifying for the worlds could do him some good (thinking of Ding, he had to qualify one year, then got to the final!).

    Yoy talking about the future of snooker reminded me of how we saw three snooker halls close here in Adelaide soon after Neil won his first world championship. All cue sports need better marketing here in Australia. Great video guys. Thank you

    Anyone else noticed that in the rolit second before he hits a shot in a challenge, Stephen's eyes have that same look we saw when he was still dominating?
    Stephen was such an incredible weapon.

    How many shots did Roberson actually miss here. None? Crazy precision even while talking all way through. 70/70 or there abouts, yet he still crashes out of world qualifiers. Just shows you how much talent there is now in top level snooker.

    I think people dont understand properly how this channel and Mr Hendry effort worth! This is an absolute point of view and thinking of two best player in the field of snooker ( sport ). 🔆 specially for a person like me, in a country with lack of snooker learning opportunities.

    I remember playing cricket on the snooker table, one person has to pot reds only, the other person posts colours in order, the colours keep coming back out until all the reds are potted.. great fun with doubles or group ..

    I was lucky to have meet Neil at a tournament..a helt the door open for him and said hello to him..he then started a conversation with me..honestly he was such a nice guy really down to earth..but what a player also..he can be unplayable on his day..

    The Australian's first sentence is to correct the Scot's use of "can't" (said like can but with an inaudible t), to the unambiguous "can't" (with an 'ahhh' in the middle). Had a Scottish neighbour once. Spent almost every conversation with the guy trying to clarify if he meant can or can't, so Robertson has immediately won me over.
