This totally proves how easy it is to level up when you are brand new to the game. I wish the OGs had it this easy when we started playing back in 2016. Currently 44 and "slowly" making my way to 45.
Bro this. I played in 2016 and it took me 6 months of daily play to hit 30. I quit around then. I came back 2 weeks ago randomly and am level 35 already. I got 200% more xp in 2 weeks then in 6 months of play in 2016 lol...
I never really understand the no second account rule. I get that it’s for fairness and exploration, but not everyone has friends. And even during Covid people had a harder time trying to trade or do challenges. But it’s niantic, they can do a ton of things wrong and take a while to fix it.
Beginner's luck definitely exists, I started a month ago, and have 13 shinies, around 8 luckies out of around 50 trades, one of them being hundo drilbur, found a galarian zapdos on my first daily incense(ran away cuz I didn't understand throw mechanics...), and found over 50 90%+ pokemon in the wild
I started 4 months ago, got 5 five shiny Legendaries, galarian zapdos and galarian moltres, a hundo legendary (zapdos) so yeah... I'm fine (sorry for my english)
2 wild shinys is sooo lucky at 320 catches(with lots being raids) since the base chance for wild shinys is about 1/500. Edit: I just checked on my account with 8,8k catches so far (lets say 8k if we take away community days and raids) i have caught 5 wild shinys (23 in total but most on community days) so thats 1 in 1600 xD
I remember I sat refreshing the play store until I could download Pokémon Go and had control of a small town of 6 gyms in the matter of an hour and found out two days later at level 16 with a bunch of 1500+ CP that you could also get Pikachu as a starter if you let your starters respawn a couple times

Yes, by pumping money into it! I’m sure if I started again with an unlimited amount of cash (and knowing NOW, what I know about the game), I reckon I could easily get to level 40 in a week.
A good way to get more exp is pop a egg especially during bonus times or events and make sure you have a bunch of things lined up to do and save the special research tasks and time your friendship hearts etc when you do it all at once you can really make out if you do it right.

I have a red guy and then I made a blue guy so I could get my red guy coins. The first thing I did with that blue guy is throw a lucky egg. Cuz every single spawn when you start is a new Pokemon bonus.

question how were you able to pull off the raids (especially the higher star raids) with the low account idk if it’s because i use remote passes but i can’t even beat three stars and i don’t know if it’s because there’s other people or what but i never have anyone to do raids with so if that’s the reason i can’t ever get any of those raids :/

I mean, the XP needed between level 44 and 45 is the same than between 0 and 38 more or less so, yeah you level up easily but it does slow down.
