Just installed a 300x700mm Classic pane lost on the west side of Amarillo after forgetting to lock it shut. Marking the key tab location was essential and literally made replacement a snap. Very well designed. Well worth the price.

Great Video! Thanks! One suggestion if you ever re-edit this video: include a segment that shows the viewer the 50%-75% compression of the gasket on the outside. Also, I found that going around and tightening all of the screws just to the point of initial compression of the gasket is a good place to start - then go around again in the star pattern tightening each screw the same amount in small increments works well - it took me about three trips around the star to get my gasket compressed equally and to the appropriate degree. I was moving slowly. Gracias again for such an informative video.

Thanks for the suggestion! You can calculate the % of compression with calipers. We did recommend that in the video but it is difficult to show! We also recommend tightening the screws in a cross hatch pattern to make sure that one section of the window isn't tightened too much or too little (avoids over tightening and bottoming out screws) , and gives an even compression all around. Glad the video helped you, let us know if you have any other questions!

It would have been a bit less brain cycles if you all would have provided the template.

Please tell me that’s NOT FRP with a Fiber Glass inner insulation between panels that you are cutting without a proper respirator.

It would be helpful if you write out in the details what the liquid is you used on the screws. Verbal isn't clear. Also answering the other questions in the comments would be helpful.

Hello! Thank you for your feedback. The liquid we used on the screws is written in detail in our installation instructions, which can be found on our website as well as in each package we ship. It is a metal based anti seize. Permatex is a good option.

I just installed my window and forgot about prepping screws. I never used the anti seize on the screws. Should I be unscrewing all the screws to do this? It’s a small 300x500 window in rear barn door of a cargo trailer

Why they call that window arctic? it is not double window. that will not be insulated enough for arctic or canadian extreme cold winter

Hi Coco. The Arctic Tern is a bird that makes the longest migration journey of any animal on Earth. Our windows ARE double paned, and combined with the air gap created by the window shade, they do very well in cold environments. If our windows aren't what you're looking for , I hope you find something that works well for your situation. Happy trails!
