Listening the this song tonight because I'm about to lose my Dad to cancer. It's only a matter of time now before I get the call that God has finally taken him home and I can't even be there for his final weeks or maybe days because of the quarantine. It's hard to accept that I will never see him again in this life. That everyone else in the family will get to say goodbye to him, but not me.
He finally went home to be with The Lord about a month ago after 18 months of fighting the cancer. While I'm sad inside I also have joy because his pain is over and he can finally rest in his Savior's arms.
