That was me when I first started getting into Dreamcatcher. Then I slowly realized she is just as crazy as Sua, but more lowkey as opposed to Sua's chaotic energy.

I find it so amusing that not just the two of them but any two members of dreamcatcher are so compatible/"in love" with each other. Like in some groups with 6+ members, it's not rare to find a combination that might be a little awkward but it's not the case with deukae.

Awesome analysis. I love that Jiu and Sua can still have so much fun after many years together. Btw, I saw a video where Sua was talking about her days as a trainee, and she said that she was very shy then!!?! Hard to imagine! Shows how people can grow and change as they gain confidence.

I recall Siyeon saying that she and SuA were _both_ very shy when they first met, so it actually took them quite a while to get to really know each other.
Now, of course, she describes SuA as her soulmate... 🥰

Sua and Jiu are the same age which means they could be friends from the moment they met, and of course their personalities mesh perfectly. It also means Sua could have been chosen as leader. Just try to imagine that!

Ah. ‘94 line. SuA is a Leo.. so that probably plays into her physical nature.. and being a fire sign.. physical and a lot of energy. One is intuitive the other is observant. One is perceiving and the other is judging. They balance each other and it’s obvious as to why they are a fan fan skinship.
Jiu- Taurus, earth sign, ENFP- Extroverted Intuitive Feeling Perceiving ,
SuA- Leo, Fire sign, ESFJ- Extroverted Observant Feeling Judging

SuA's very physically affectionate - as I always say, violence is just SuA's way of saying "I love you". But as RJ says, JiU shows her affection more with words and gestures. She may be somewhat overwhelmed by SuA's _powerful_ displays of her love, but she enjoys it in her own way. (Unlike Yoohyeon, who seems to _really_ enjoy it when SuA gets aggressive with her... 🤣)
When they said they were 27, that was couple of years ago; they're actually 29 in Korean terms... but to the rest of us, they actually _are_ 27 now. JiU turns 28 in May, SuA in August, so there's less than three months between them.
Of course, that makes of them one of the two same-age pairings in the team (along with Yoohyeon and Dami), so there's no expectation of formality between them. JiU may be SuA's leader, but in all other respects, they're equals.
They also compliment each other perfectly as de facto parents. JiU is the emotional backbone of the group, giving them focus and support. SuA does most of the cooking and nagging. 😜 But both are extremely protective of "the kids." I think that protectiveness is a general trait, though, rather than just being toward the girls. 7:10 I _think_ all this time, JiU thought she'd _misheard_ what SuA was saying; eventually she figured out the she heard it just fine, it just didn't make any _sense_ to her, like it was a reference to something she didn't know about.
