I think Silver Tempest is my favorite Sword and Shield set. It was the set that got me back into collecting pokemon cards. It's special to me
I agree. I actually got sucked in by pulling a Serena Full Art in my first Silver Tempest pack, at the time it was something like a $50 card and 3rd high in ST. That hooked me so much that Silver Tempest was the first set I was able to Master, I’ll never forget that.
@@gecooker The first pack I got had a gold Serperior Vstar in it and that made me very happy. It made me want to collect pokemon cards again
Same for me I pulled the alt Lugia. First pack from a game vending machine at my job. Now I have a ton of cards and sealed product.
My local Walmart got restocked with Tyranitar V tin and it has 2 brilliant and 3 ES packs 🔥 only had 1 sadly or I’d of bought more

I found 8 evo skies ETBs at walmart back in December (rural walmart). Bought em all... they were behind the SV stuff but I saw the edge of the etb art. Got a baby moonbreon (Umbreon V alt) out of em!
I bought the T Tar tin from Walmart containing 3 ES and 2 BS for $24.99. Bought 4 with 3 ES having 2 full arts and 1 Glaceon V alt art…so yes as u said these ES packs in these tins are shockingly good!
The Divergent Power Tins are 26.99, were they on sale at your store? 5 packs / 27 bucks = 5.40
Yeah but Evo Skies packs sell for like 12 bucks each so it terms of market value the the packs are worth about 35 bucks
That’s tough. I love Lost Origin for the Giratina chase. But I love Crown Zenith for the outrageous pull rate. S&S was a good run across the board, IMO.
The tins are 2699. I saw them yesterday at target after the restock and I bought every single one of them, 8 to be exact😂 nice to see target restocking some older stuff at the chance better value
These would have been ripped off the shelves months ago in Australia. I go to multiple stores and their shelves are always bare.
Honestly those were pretty solid products. Sad we didn’t see an alt art or an eveelution. BS is my favorite set because it got me back into opening cards. I wanted to chase that zard alt art.
My favorite is Crown and Zenith hands down. My older son and I love collecting pokemon he just left to go back home from visiting my wife and I but he gave me a Brown and Zenith box for a early father's day gift what a kid.

definetly lost origin, fav pokemon is giratina so any type of giratina i pull is just a treat, well the big one is fine too i guess
There's also one pack of evolving skies each in the Pokemon 2022 trainer's toolkits (purple ones), in case you're interested in ES packs.
My favorite set from the sword and shield era, would be Astral Radiance. Had a nice card list, little good balance of everything from old and new
Got an Empoleon/T-Tar tin at Walmart the other day and it used to have 2 evol skies and 3 other SWSH packs... These ones had all 5 Brilliant Stars. The Pokemon Company is clearly recalling all products with Evol Skies in them and replacing them with lesser value packs. It already happened with the Pikachu V-box's and continues with all other products. Found 2019 Chansey/Gardevoir repackaged tins with the date on the back at Dollar General too and they were all Scarlet/Violet and Astral Radiance. Buyer beware.

My favorite S & S era set is Crown Zenith. It's the set that got me through my dad's passing. It was also the first set that got me back into pokémon. You ,Rev, Deep Pocket, and CTR have got me through a lot this past year. I thank you so much for what you do. We all need a little fun and love in life. You guys do that.
I really want to love Lost Origin but the pull rates are so tough. I think my favorite set from Sword and Shield would have to be Crown Zenith. There is so much great artwork in CZ and the pull rates actually feel attainable. It's such a fun set to open.
Ok that price on the ETBs was good, its same here in EU for those currently i wonder when will they also skyrocket.

My Sword & Sheild Set is Silver Tempest. That is when I got started in Pokémon.
Favorite SWSH set is crown zenith for me. Always likely to get a hit and the artwork is amazing

There are so many good sets! Evolving skies is obviously top teir but I think astral radiance and chilling reign are my favorites then crown zenith. The alt arts are just to hard to beat!

You didn't get fully cooked on that opening, that's for sure! My favorite set is Chilling Reign. I've pulled 2/3 top hitters from that set and even got a PSA 10 on my gold Snorlax!
Crown zenith is my favorite set due to the gold cards are awesome and it constantly hits.
crown zenith my be my favorite set from sword and shield but not because of the bangers but because of all the other cards in that set
Lost Origin gotta be my fave SWSH set. My 7 yo is trying to complete the master set but those Giratina and Aerodactyl have been evading us

Favorite sword and shield set has to be the evolving skies just because I am an Eeveelution lover. Currently working on an eevee binder to make my heart happy.

Those were good hits. For comparison the ETB I opened Evolving Skies had only one hit of espeon v.

It's all about Lost Origin for me. A fun set. Major hits. just a good closer set to that era of cards before going through silver tempest and Crown Zenith.

I bought an evolving skies booster box prerelease and opened it after I came home from a military school. My wife pulled the Alt Art Sylveon Vmax… i traded it the next week and had no idea the box or the card would be the price it is today.
Favorite set for me is definitely Brilliant Stars. That was the new set when I was getting back into Pokemon. Holds a special place in my heart because of it!

i found ttar and empereon tins in wall mart and they had 3 evo skies and 2 brilliant stars.... PC said they were supposed to have all chilling reign

Brilliant Stars is solid due to the alts, gold birds and TG is solid. Evolving Skies is truly broken if you can actually pull the top tier hits!

My favorite set is chilling pain. I got back into ripping packs when it dropped picked up a BB from my local card shop. Pulled the blaziken 3 packs in had no idea at the time raw it was going for 120$ I remember thinking that's a cool blaziken had no idea it was like 1# chase card

Opened up some Lost Origin Battle Stadium boxes to try and complete my set and 2nd boxes pulled the Giratina Alt Art was super excited but lost it when on my last box/ last pack magic I pulled a 2nd Giratina I lost it!
Favorite set is fusion strike and the Gengar
My favorite set would be Evolving Skies due to the amazing Alt Arts. My kids and I didn't start collecting until Vivid Voltage was released and its all because I pulled the Rainbow Pikachu. The rest is history.
