Fun fact: The Seal of Ascension can be used during the Blackhand encounter to summon Vaelan during the fight! Vaelan can heal you or help attack Blackhand depending on what stage the event is in!
Full heal to hp/mana of all party/raid members + buff and an ally that would destroy base mobs faster then I destroy a shrimp party platter at an event! (unless used to early cus Nef would kill the facsimile if rend didn't ascend yet but could still be used 1x per player with ring equipped leading to a super easy fight). The funniest part till bliz fixed it was that you could /shout Rend Blackhand shouts: "I wear the prettiest dress!" (followed by a subsequent verse if you added the right amount of spaces) Lord Nefarion Shouts: "C'Mere bitch and give me a kiss!" leading to epic"WTF!?" moments from rando's who never did the fight. It was a running joke for so long I really wish bliz never fixed it due to the humor incited by other players.
Was this not included because its not working on LH?
Yo tips can we get a couple lvl 50+ dungeon guides? Brd would be dope

If you’re completing this quest in TBC, the final turn-in to Vaelen is bugged. You’ll need to loot another Unadorned Seal of Ascension from trash packs first. Having this item in your bag, along with the completed Forged Seal of Ascension, fixes the issue.

I remember getting summoned to the ubrs entrance, opening the door for the raid, getting tipped 5g then getting a mage portal back to IF. Damn I feel old.

I'm sure you get asked this a lot... how do you make your videos wherein your character appears to be on a local server walking around, showing things in game, etc? Is it some sort of local server run in admin mode or something? Just curious.

So can these gems be looted by anyone with that part of the quest? If so can you run into situations where people have to decide who gets the gems for the quest?
Few tips from my personal experience:
1. Put the seal on a flat surface, like the water seen in the video (if the surface isn't flat, the quest item can los the fire breath ability)
2. Bring full group for this, the black dragon hits very hard
3. The Orb of Draconic Energy can be resisted by Emberstrife, so keep that in mind when doing it.

I remember being one of the few warriors and people in general who had the key for UBRS. Atleast twice a day i'd get whispered to open the doors. I never charged to open the door.

Ill never forget when i finally got the 3rd gem.....all those runs....all that time, and i finally got it.....no more waiting for someone else to come and open that damn door 😎👍
One more thing to mention: You have to be at least lvl 57 to start the quest with Vaelon.

I'm pretty frustrated. I followed the instructions perfectly. The item you place in the water disappears in a few seconds, and I wasted 4 charges. The last try I waited until the dragon was at 10%, then placed it down before MC. Then, for some reason mc broke for absolutely no reason, and I'm left with nothing.

With the stones dropping from the main 3 bosses in LBRS being of uncommon quality, does that mean you have to roll for them with the rest of your party? (who might also be on the same quest).
Yes and you dont need the Quest to roll on the gems. And most ppl only do LBRS once for the attunement so its hard to get a group going in the first place.
Somebody pls help :( I am exactly about to give in the quest like 3:37 but the npc doesnt have a yellow question mark above. Even Questie tells me there is one showing on the map. I completed everything 100% I just want to give that quest in and get the key but why doesn't it work? :( (yes i have the needed item in my inventory)

Do you think instances such as UBRS, Stratholme and Scholomance will be released with 15/10mans player capping like it was back in most of vanilla? I would love to see this, since it was first in patch 1.10 these instances originally was set to 10 and 5 mans capping.
Another thing worth debating, is the entrance for Molten Core. It was first in patch 1.3 the teleport shortcut was added. Prior to this you had to run through BRD before being able to enter Molten Core. Whats your opinion/thoughts on these topics? and do you think it could become an reality for blizzard to recreate this? : )
For things like this I think you have to remember that they are using 1.12 patch. They are simply doing what Private servers have done and cutting and pasting certain parts into stages. However the game for the large part will play the whole time like it is 1.12 so for something like a teleport fix they did in 1.3 most likely it will stay fixed. Only for major things like possibly changes to honor rating between patch 1.7 and patch 1.10 might be changed to accommodate the timeline. At least that is what I have understood from Blizzard posts/Blizzcon/Vanilla experts like Tips and Private server developers.
Yeah, it might seem like that. But instances such as Strat/Scholo being 10mans was the case for most of Vanilla. And if they release the content in 4 seperate patches. It could be 1.3 - 1.6 - 1.9 - 1.12 ? Which would in theory make Scholo/Strat 10mans(If they work on it ofc). Since if we take look at Battlegrounds, they're first released in the second round. So why not do it with all content? Instead of purely releasing a half assed version of 1.3? : P
@@inslept-4611 Because they said they wouldn't? saying "it might seem like that" seems to suggest that they might not have said they were doing exactly what I just stated(Using Patch 1.12)... but they did state that, unequivocally. If you want to believe that there is chance they might add something like an extra hike instead of a teleport because it was like that for a couple months in the earliest days of vanilla, please feel 100% free to believe/hope for that. I was, and am just stating that Blizzard developers have said they won't be doing minor stuff like that and that the WoW release will be for Patch 1.12.
That said, my comment had no emphasis on the 10 man state of dungeons. Personally I feel that there is absolutely an argument for that being a major point to change back to what ever Phase will encompass patch 1.3. Which again, is why I didn't shoot down your proposal of that in your OP. So not sure why you would bring it up in reply to me as if I did.
But here I will write my specific opinion and reasoning about the teleport, since I am bored and you responded :P
Personally I have no problem with them leaving in a teleport for a walk that did not serve the purpose of creating adventure, only wasting time, and so was changed within the first couple months of people even stepping into MC.When I say a couple months I don't want you thinking this was a couple months like people were raiding MC in September or October. No the World first kill of Lucifron, the very first and easiest(IMO) boss in MC was killed by Fires of Heaven on JANUARY 20th 2005, Majordomo didn't die till February 10th. Patch 1.3 dropped on March 7th 2005. The point of me dropping these dates is that basically within 2 months of people seriously trying to raid MC they implemented a teleport. Now you want people to have to deal with a teleport for the first phase (4-6 month period from what Devs said) because it was implemented this way in Vanilla, what you are not taking into account though is that it was an option created almost immediately after developers realized how annoying and pointless the run was for players. The issue is that people will be raiding MC seriously within a month of Classic dropping this summer, I guarantee it. This means that people would have to put up with an annoying walk for 3-5 months. This is not what happened in classic. I cannot stress this enough because this is where people who want no changes don't seem to understand what they are asking for(no saying your one of them). Some things were changed at the times that they were because people did not reach or understand the content enough to encounter the problems that cropped up. It might seem like great nostalgia or in some way fun to simply run through lava for an extra 5-10 min every week before raid; I doubt it though or they wouldn't have created a teleport to a raid that saw its first hardcore attempts less then 60 days prior to the teleport's creation.

Came on here literally to like, comment, and leave. I'm trying to force myself to watch less of these videos, because I still want there to be a lot of things I don't remember, or never did and wanted to do naturally. These videos are great, and there's no doubt in my mind this one's another ringer, just wanted to still support and leave myself some puzzles to solve.

I miss attunement quests
Still remembered this quest to every exact detail but wanted to watch regardless...nostalgia is a bitch! Was one of the .1% who did Naxx in vanilla and can't wait for the re-release since BFA is by far the worst expan ever next to Crapaclism...errr Cata. I loved this quest series, then again it felt so fulfilling when you completed most keying quests or hidden in general like Eranikus in SOS. My favorite was the part in UBRS saving poor little Awbee and doing their questline that led you into Winterspring or figuring out Chromie was a bronze dragon dressed as a gnome if you followed the quests/lore. Show don't tell was such a huge factor in Vanilla-WOTLK where now it's just shitty plot hole of activision story coupled with AP grind forced down players throats as content...

worth it ! I sold so many key services ... Just sit your main next to ubrs and farm gold on your alt. I was such a reliable key service that people would whisper me directly instead of asking in world chat. I also had deals with some guilds where they'd trade me pristine black diamonds for service bundles. Also never help people that are part of the Devilsaur mafia, it's NEVER in your favor even if you ask for 1000g per opening. Let those fuckers rot

I wasted 5 charges on every 3 hours CD and the quest ain't completing for me same shit happened to a group of 4 infront of me too lol aka blizzlike

@@valtuni aperently when you finish the quest but dont kill the dragon (vanish for example) he has a 3h CD on the spell, so you have to kill it then way for respawn.

it seems the gems are 100% drop chance now but everyone rolls for them. also dont do it 4 man and waste so much time that by the time you run back to turn the quest in every mob has respawned :I..
The seal is rare but one thing I don’t understand is why it’s worth so little on the auction house, saw one going for 2 gold and the other was going for about 15 silver.
hunters need to dismiss pet or it won't let you mind control emberstrife
