I think he just got some serious tunnel vision, and for his next fight(s) before a rematch he should work on that. Idk how someone would work on that though

I think maybe he would have more cross-training opportunities that are expansive, but I could be completely wrong, I just get this sense from footage of Rickson that he is a genius who has settled in to his ways

Meh. Points win. Kron was going for finishes. Not to dis the guy, but don't get all teary eyed like a beauty pageant winner, when you got some sweeps. This isn't wrestling. There's gonna be position changes when your'e working for submissions. The consequence of a sweep that doesn't result in a tap is zip. The rules have points; I get it. He has to be really good to avoid being submitted by Kron, but I'm just saying Kron just didn't submit him yet when the time ran out.
These guys are so conservative and scared to take chances. Maybe if you took away the points criteria and made it submission only the guys would go for it more.
Kron style if for finishing his fights. Differently from these guys who fight a more sportive style with more strategy, of making points and maintaining it. Proof of this is that Kron submitted Durinho, and almost every other big guy of his generation. In other hand, Kron is a guy very hard to submit, almost impossible.
So amazing! His Jiu Jitsu has always been great, I hope he becomes UFC Champ!
