My all-time favourite synth. If you get an opportunity to play the VR730, the waterfall keys are sublime.

Great timing as I'm just in the process of getting a vr-09 partly on the strength of your episodes, and the price currently

LP Dist-- is “Distorted” I found also using a sustain pedal brings more dramatic sounds forward too. Good job sampling the presets. Plus some of the organ sliders act as ADSR functions as well endless possibilities

There is some nice sounds in there. Can you recommend a keyboard amp for the VR 09? I'm mainly using it for organ and electric piano sounds.

Nice video. It’s still my go-to keyboard for everything except pianos. I tend to increase the attack on the strings and pads, otherwise sludgy transitions.

Hi man! Great video! Please. Can you tell me how are the the feeling of the keys? Is ot too lights (more xps10) or more strong as a XP-30, for exemple? Thanks a lot.

I'm very on the fence with the vr-09, part of me wants it for the organ but part of me wants some more luxury features like a sequencer, sampler, more expansive synth etc. Is there anything out there of the sort (plus a good organ) within reasonable price? Also aren't there a few features on the vr-09 to do with synth editing, wave parameters and such?

The Roland IS the reasonable price synth with the good organ sound in many ways. The Roland Juno DS is a steal and has a sampler (to a fashion) as well. Organ sounds not great tho
