Just got my VR-730 today and it's so playable. We have the nord at church, and they both play the same, but the waterfall keys of the Roland and still being weighted feel SOOO good.
I'm the proud owner of the Roland VR-730 but I bought it after owning a Nord Electro 4 for several years. To my ears, the Roland's B-3 sounds are much closer to a Hammond than the Electro. But it's the Roland's synth sounds that really convinced me to trade in the Nord. Never regretted it - and the Roland cost less than half the price of the Nord!
I like that the Roland has physical sliders for organ drawbars (also used for adjusting synth and other sound parameters). I saw how he had to push the equivalent buttons on the Nord multiple times to get to the same settings. (obviously Nord has other models that DO have physical drawbars) I just like the physical access to effects, sounds, draw bars, etc on the Roland more as it seems more intuitive and easier to do while on stage. I'm buying the Roland VR09 (the 61 key version of the VR730 here)
That is only real comparsion I ever saw and heard on youtube! No speak... why speak if its about the sound? Thats it! BUT! Roland is half on price and sounds close to Nord if you play with sound... :)
Monday got my VR-730, it sounds perfect. But my midi-pedals are not compatible, so it's a waste of time. However I will never consider Nord, the buttons seems very small and there is no pitch bend.
The nord sounds like a casio the roland sounds like kawai the casio sounds like yamaha yamaha sound an accordion the accordion sounds like a roland fantom the fantom does not exist. So it must be a fuckin alien😋👍
Great demo! Question: Is there a big difference in what plays more comfortable for you? In terms of simply playing wise and how you can press the keys?
@@阳江吉他歌手. Musos, there’s a couple of Roland videos on RUclips that illustrate some of the additional sounds that the Roland VR-730 has more than the VR-09B. Also, the VR-730 has less plastic: the VR-730 has wooden sides and the whole case is solidly-lastingly made of lightweight Aluminum! 👍 The VR-730 is portable at only 9.9kgs and the quality 73 velocity sensitivity waterfall organ keys are a joy to play. 🤗🎹🎶 I have owned both, and the VR-730 is definitely worth the extra outlay. Also the 🎹keybed on the VR-730 is much better than the older VR-760 🎹 and the VR-730 more portable too. For a stage performance 🎹 of the classic 60’s & 70’s & 80’s popular radio hit songs the VR-730 🎹 is a stage performance 🎹 WINNER 🥇 for ROLAND. 👍🤗🎹🎶

The battery power and the wireless option is definitely a winner on the VR

I actually like the Bridge Over Troubled more on the Roland. I think they are on par with each other. Nord slightly wins in piano, Roland in Rhodes.
I like the organ better on the Roland but the Nord has better piano. That being said, I own a Roland because of the cost of the Nord.
Same.
Only I own a VR-09-B
I got the VR-09B and I love it
Clav on the Roland is far superior in this comparison.

I have never understood why anyone would pay the extra mega bucks for Nord gear. Maybe I am missing something 🤔
VR730 é superior em quase tudo. A simulação de B3 e Leslie do Nord tem mais profundidade que o Roland. Um pequeno detalhe que faz toda a diferença
Roland sounds better!

The Roland pisses all over it. Less money, and far superior.
Amigo, qual amostra de piano do Nord vc usou em "Bridge over troubled water"?

y a t il une grande différence entre VR730 et VR09 svp?

@@Juancabass最主要的一點就是vr730是風琴的鍵床;而vr09是普通的61鍵床

Nord sounds so much better imo
