- This video is a little bit different to our other videos - we thought we would take you on a tour and show you what a day in the life at the studio looks like for the three of us running a creative business! Although many people may think running a creative business is a lot of making and hours of fun, most of the time its actually admin, finances, content creation, monotonous tasks and everything in between!
If you have any questions about our video, or how you can also run your creative business, we'd love to help - just comment below :)

I would have loved to see the fast time lapse of layer by Layer 3 D Printing.... Those shots look great....
Someone else asked for 3d printing bts footage! We will have to do another one ☺️
Honestly super cool Vlog. Super calming, down to earth and also insightful. Would love to see more of these 😊
Aw thank you ☺️ we will have to do another one soon!
Didn’t realise you’re a family business - how great to have such a talented bunch! Really appreciate your content 😊
Oh thank you! Thanks for watching ❤️❤️❤️
Fun watching how your business works. I find your videos so helpful
Thank you, so glad you find them helpful 🥰 Yes, it’s always fun to see behind the scenes at other businesses!
Very pleased to see you enjoy a good old Yorkshire Tea!
Oh yes! It’s our favourite brand! ❤️
I love this type of video, would love to see more! So fun to get an insight into others' small business activities. Out of pure curiosity I would love to see a more in-depth look at what goes into the product testing process and what things you consider when tweaking designs. Also more into how the 3D printing works specifically for what you do (like how long it takes for a cutter, do you do multiple on one printer, a timelapse of the actual printing, any finishing you need to do once it comes out of the printer, etc). My small business is actually stationery so I'm used to multiple Silhouette machines but I'm sure 3D printers are a whole different ballgame and I find it so fascinating! And obviously for your videos in general I'd love to see more videos of actually making stuff using your cutters, whether they're tutorials or just timelapses with commentary.💕
P.S. I imagine it gets tedious for Mum packing all day! What other things does she help with? And has she ever made any clay creations?
Thank you! 🥰 Ooo yes, a collection design and printing one would be a fun one to do! We will add it to our list 😊
We actually have a silhouette! We haven’t used it for much apart from stickers (the 3d printers keep us too busy to do all the projects we want to try with it! 😅). From the little I know about using the silhouette though I think using a machine like that can definitely have a similar complexity and learning curve as much as 3d printing. You need the experience to get a feel for what settings and how to fix them. Same, same, but different!
Haha yes mum does do a lot of packing but one of us is normally packing with her or at least working in the packing room so that makes it a bit more fun! She honestly does do so much else though, from helping with the printers, to ordering, to organising - we would be lost without her! ❤️ She has done a little bit of clay, but also does resin. She actually taught us both how to dome resin our clay earrings!
So nice to have a family business 😊
It really is, we’re so lucky to get to work together 🥰
❤❤❤😊أحببت أعمالك رائعه جدا so beautiful art and work
Oh thank you 🥰🥰🥰
💕💐💐💐💕
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Very interesting. Do you get any physical customers? Or is it just postal? How many printers do you have? Thanks for the video. Take care all🤗🇬🇧
Thank you! We are an online business but do have some local customers that pop in to grab things. We’re not quite set up as a walk-in shop and our cutters are printed to order. It’s nice when we do get our local pick-up customers pop in to say hi and talk clay though!
We have 14 printers in total - they do an amazing job printing all our cutters! They do keep Tegan busy though keeping up with all their maintenance and cheeky break-downs 🙈
what is the phone holder you use in your videos, white 90-degree holder.
It is the Hey Paparazzo Olivia 2 😊 we are actually ambassadors for them (have been using their stands for years) so you can use our affiliate link and get a small discount 😊 heypaparazzo.com/?sca_ref=3713222.x36wbAt4AJ
Is your daily routine the same every day? I work full time and need a better way to keep on task I’m finding that I get so involved with making my clay jewelry that when it comes to pictures etc. I overwhelm myself. 🤦♀️
It isn’t, just because we have such job variety between designing cutters, running the supplies part of the business, workshops and RUclips. One thing that is very consistent for us though is planning and to do lists. Every morning we set a plan and write to do lists - it means we know what we need to achieve that day/week and keeps us on track 😊 simple but very effective!
Ah. thank you!
I really enjoued your video and meeting everyone. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it, hi from all of us! 👋☺️
