Thank you for this. I will be pointing to this at the Future Pinball Community forum and let all the FP devs and vp devs know about this. We have been thinking about forum support for the new generation of pinball cabinets because well,we will be supplying a lot of the original games people will want to play on Legends (already have actually) so the more information our 2 communities have, the faster we get it, means the sooner we can support it with the tens of thousands pinball games we have.
Really Great video. This will make a lot of vpin buyers very happy. I have fx3 on my diy cab and the Williams package games play really good. It is worth pointing out there is an arcade mode and for added realism you can also turn off all the instant scoring numbers from flashing all around the screen and the added visual effects which looks better in a cab in my view but each to there own. It is somewhere in the settings.

That is what I would like to know. I have the same setup. I know legends is working on a new Rachael board, to run the back display with FX. However the board is so new, I know nothing about it.
I've seen a video where the USB-C port was used to supply the back panel HDMI, but maybe not every USB-C port is capable of that. You have to have a USB-C to HDMI adapter, of course. I have not done this myself, so I can't confirm the process.
On some of Pinball fx tables they have mini games that take place on the dmd or in some other fashion on the back glass. Is it possible to have that displayed on the main play field and not the back glass so i don't have to mod my atgames legends pinball table? Thanks!

Yes, Great upgrade but I'm not a fan of 1up games, to be honest too small. Don't get me wrong 720p is good enough but Atgames 1080p 60fps on 32inch screen is the way to go.

Great video! Does this have the real solenoid mod?
I’m looking to get a gaming laptop to do this setup. To run the back glass , does it have to have 2 HDMI out ports ? Or can it be one HDMI and then another type of display port ? Thanks
Thanks!
I get no signal to my main screen when plugging in my PC to the HDMI port, do you know why that would happen?
Just wondering why you dont use cabinet mode???
xbox controller does not show up
Is there any setting in the fx3 game itself that I’m missing? Does it need to be in cabinet mode?
Pinball fx3 is no longer available for cabinet code request. Do you know another way to install it on legends pi ball?
At 4:50, you point out that you need to select the XBOX controller. This option is not there for me. Were there some steps to make this appear?
if you can't connect: plug HDMI cable in then USB to USB data cable into right usb port on legends pinball from laptop
then press HDMI button on top panel select "otg" "main display" and "90 degrees" in hdmi settings on legends pin then ok
then steam should auto detect legends pinball as xbox one controller then define button keys in controller layout.
u may need to restart PC or legends if it keeps failing.
Why do you need the usb to usb data cable?
Controller input. The Legends buttons are now the controls for the laptop running the game.
@@isometrixk ok, I just don't follow how plugging in the cable allows this to work. Does this allow the pinball to talk to the Pinball FX3 software so that the buttons can be mapped?
I have pinball fx in my PS4 console.
Can you connect ps4 in this devise?
do the haptics work with fx3?
Hi Tampa Tec what did you think of Doug's mod for a 32" display on Arcade 1up Pinball Machine as a proof of concept? Would you mod your machine this way or stay with the original display?
Yes, Great upgrade but I'm not a fan of 1up games, to be honest too small. Don't get me wrong 720p is good enough but Atgames 1080p 60fps on 32inch screen is the way to go.
I’m getting a slight delay. Is there something I did wrong
You got this to work without a powered USB hub?
How can you download and play a South Park pinball game and/or an Apollo 13 pinball game on Legends Pinball?
When will haptic feedback be available
Does Plunger work on your streaming?
No but red button on the front does work.
Hi@@TampaTec , thank you for reply back. Does solenoid feedback haptic still work? And accelerator and Front and back flippers feedback still work once you switch to streaming pinball ?
@@johnny58435 no. only the tables that are on board
So does your computer not have a gpu/graphics card?
I cant get the ATG Controller settings to save, theres no option to save, just cancel or clear, No other options
That’s my problem too right now! I can’t find an answer. Did you figure it out?
