At 6:34 you missed a way to cast Emergent Ultimatum. You could have Archdruid's Charmed for a Fae of Wishes, play a land, cast Hidden Strings untap your fields, cast Bala Ged Recovery back strings, cast strings untapping your fields, cast granted for Emergent Ultimatum, Cast Emergent Ultimatum.
Round 5 Game 2 - the line after bouncing Ashiok was the combination of the two lines you were considering. Start at 6 mana, DP for HS up to 8, DP for last HS again up to 10, Charm->Lier->FB HS and go to town. The thing I love most about this deck is how complicated it can be to pilot, the thing I hate most about this deck is how complicated it can be to pilot xD
Great Lotus Field gameplay again, playing around the field of ruin with thespian stage and Vizier was mega. Any tips on how you would’ve sideboarded had you faced Boros Heroic or Mono-White Aggro which are the two I really struggle with?!
Game 1 instead of bala ged pore you can charm for lier and have the charm again plus the other spells in grave. This deck is so interesting with many avenues so I wonder if there’s other reasons to use bala ged. Great video regardless.
@@TheEPICStormI think they mean match 1 g1 At 6:40 where you have UU with 2 untapped lotus and strings/balaged/charm in hand with 2 pore in grave, and you made the play of Bala Ged targeting Pore. (Then you play strings + land and charm for Lier with 2 floating and win). Instead of playing Balaged for Pore in this spot you can tap 2 field = 8 mana, play strings = 12 mana, charm for Lier + cast it (to 4 mana). It's not a deterministic kill from here either, but you can flashback strings (8mana), then flashback 1 pore (9mana), THEN Bala Ged for your other Pore at this point if you still want to do that, so it keeps your options open on Balaged slightly longer? Which does seem like an upside unless you thought that it was better to Balaged+Pore first to try draw into a different non-Lier line. I think this comment is maybe making a broader/implied point that "actually can I archdruid's charm into Lier?" should have been calculated before losing 2 mana to go Balaged -> Pore. Because the Lier line seems very likely to win and it was almost missed by 1 mana
I was debating on trimming/cutting bala geds and the 1 SB Chandra for more temples/surveil lands/breeding pools or free slots now that fae of wishes provides access to approach in the SB. What are your thoughts?
I cover surveil lands in another comment. Make sure to check that out! I’ve also covered approach previously in another video. It doesn’t do anything when you aren’t already winning and Chandra does.
I really want to see how you actually win with chandra in the side board. Usually the opponent concedes, but dont you also need to find 3 bala geds then chain them correctly with chandra? Sometimes this is difficult to pull off. I played an RCQ with approach in the side and chandra in the main and always felt more comfortable getting approach and tutoring for it that way as things can go very wrong if you dont sequence the bala geds correctly plus you have to draw all 3 of them and thats not always guaranteed even if you resolve chandra from the board
I timed out sooo many times trying to pull off the chandra loop online. Am i alone here? I feel like it would be great in paper but the time it takes on MTGO is intense
@@TheEPICStorm I guess it just never worked out that way for me. Not only just looping them but gathering all the pieces to do it. Idk maybe I'm just new and need practice. It was a lot of game actions tho
One thing I find thats a big time saver, is to keep your whole graveyard popped out so you can see all the cards in your graveyard, and the most important one is to right click, select “Pass Priority Till End of Turn” or whatever that equivalent is if you don’t have responses. This makes it so the clock doesn’t even touch you on the opponent’s turn and you can save an extra minute or two most games
I've been playing a list similar your version for almost 3 months straight at my LGS and more recently with the new cards a lot of them are etb's, so I am trying Procter list as well and its been the opposite results but I see a good amount of Niv to Light, amalia, and atraxa combo
aren't serveils lands technically better than temples? they filter in the same way except serveil lands can be grabbed off of opponent's boseiju or dump cards into the gy for lier?
What are your thoughts about adding Grand Abolisher to this deck? Also, I se this was not your day, you were not playing as good a you usually do, and deck was not helping yo much by giving you so many lands, I hate days like this
1. Hidden Strings is a sorcery, I don't know what you mean. 2. Casting Hidden Strings vs a deck full of Spell Pierce + Mystical Dispute and expecting it to resolve there is bold.
I really dislike Stern Proctor, it just feels like it’s trying to achieve a goal different from the goal of the deck. I don’t really want Lotus Field and two other lands, I want to find Lotus Field and Stage. It feels slow and just gets killed before it can even achieve its goal, and it’s goal isn’t really what I want to do be trying to do with this deck.
Right- feels like we sacrifice overall speed and consistency in most matchups for an improvement in one really bad match up. Doesn’t seem worth it to me.

Nice line! But timestamps help too Daniel!
Is this still good after the Aug 26th bans? Does this have a good match up against phoenix and Niv?

aren't serveils lands technically better than temples? they filter in the same way except serveil lands can be grabbed off of opponent's boseiju or dump cards into the gy for lier?
I covered it in the last video, but no, Surveiling away something like Omniscience or Lier is game over.
@@TheEPICStorm thanks for the response! That does make sense
I like having 1 surveil land in the deck to grab off boseiju, but otherwise temples should be the preference.
In my local, struggling heavily against a plethora of main board Ashiok (Phoenix, control)... Any insight or build to address this?
I cover it at the end
@@TheEPICStorm guess i need to watch the whole video and then ask questions lol. Thanks! Good to see you back on Lotus
Don't you think it's good to add a wish? I saw a game where the opponent used the ashiok and threw the fairy to the cemetery and exiled her.
Theres still Lair of the Hydra to win with
I'm locked in.
Any build with grazers i think 4 temple and 1 hedge maze is the way to go. These have been so insane at smoothing my draws
I mean... what are you cutting?
@@TheEPICStorm 1 otawara, 1-2 thespians stage (im running two and it works great), and possibly a botanical sanctum
esse seria uma boa opção de deck budet para jogar legacy? com alguns ajustes?
I only speak English
Is wish more viable with mystical dispute being popular?
I don’t see how that fixes anything?
Would this be a good budet deck option for playing legacy? with some adjustments?
Not likely. It’s too slow/fragile for legacy.
