  • A small disco of a wave moving aroung the screen, aka time evolution of a two-dimensionary harmonic oscillator wavefunction
    Animation created in Wolfram Mathematica.
    Wavefunction at t=0 is normalised superposition of first 5 stationary state wavefunctions with randomly chosen weighting coefficients.
    Stationary state wavefunctions and energy eigenvalues computed by using a DVR algorithm in sinc basis using 250 basis functions.
    All units chosen are atomic units, time is propagated in steps of 0.1 between 0 and 100.
