The wing surfaced rusted to match the rest of the patina would be sick. Dunk it in the ocean or something to get it to surface rust then clear coat it to keep the look could be an easy way to do it
Ages ago mighty car mods poured beer on a golf to rust the panel very quickly

I suggest paint the wing to match the valve covers or suspension and leave the mounting brackets black. Love this truck man, been watching from the start. Proud to see you grow in skill and the success that followed. Keep shining Craig!

The "Escort " is a Ford EXP. EXP meaning experimental. It is basically a Ford Escort coupe. 2 seats and it's own hatch, not a foxbody hatch grafted on. Mercury had their version called the LN7. There was 2 generation of EXP.
The LN7 had a bubble back hatch similar to the 83-86 Mercury Capri (Fox) that was then used on the 2nd gen EXP.

That 'wing' looks out of place and has no practical purpose, other than adding a geegaw or nick knack to the truck tailgate.
The “escort” It has a Audi TT dash, probably Audi underneath, also your f100 is a monster, I think the wing, has too be patina finish like the truck paint, other then that it’s 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

I think the wing looks good like it is the aluminum color matches the grill in the bumper in the door handles and the windshield room but it is your truck so do whatever you feel what color would be good too maybe that yellowish color on the around the rims and on the headlights to match that or maybe like a rusty looking color to match the rest of the truck or just straight up black but if the wing won't rust I would just leave it like it is just my opinion or the copper color on the rear end like you said that would be cool

If you run the wing, put a bed cover on it. Paint it patina white or black like a bed cover. I'm not crazy about it, but it's not my truck. I respect what you like and make it yours. Kind of miss the junk yard parts searching videos. Your doing great.👍👍👍👍

Damn...it...lol.....the raw will stay with the attitude of the truck more than with color covering it up. Just shiny maybe even brushed them cleared
Random people telling you "if it was me..." when it comes to the look of your ride has got to get old. Having said that, if it was mine I would do a shitty matte finish, lemon meringue rattle can paint job and black out the chrome. Oh, yeah. I actually did that with my '85 F250 so, you can't because that's kind of my thing now. When I got the thing it was at least three different shades of yellow and didn't really have any style other than "it's a cool old truck" kind of thing. So, again, I picked a muted shade of yellow, and then blacked out the wheels and all the chrome. It looked mean as hell. Got a lot of compliments on it. Nowhere near as tight as yours but a compliment is a compliment. I definitely dig the old and faded look. I honestly can't understand the overdone paint, dropped suspension, super bling aesthetic. To each his own. Which is too say: whatever gets you laid. And to the haters, I say Richard Rawlings went to jail or something so that clear coat patina business is officially up for grabs now. Rock it!!!

Anyone who reads this, do yourself a favor and don’t buy classic industries parts. They’re nothing but cheap Chinese crap and removing even poor looking oem factory parts for their stuff will only leave you disappointed in the long run. Hunt swap meets and find good used or NOS stuff.
You should wrap rhe spoiler like and old plank of wood! It would be unique, goofy, and match the patina!!!

Hi Craig, if you did a video on wheel choice of a bumpside would be super popular, there are so many forums about it due to narrower rear track, I mean does it really matter or not, do you go bigger on back by an inch, bigger tyre etc etc. I have been looking for mine just for a standard truck just want to add a bit of bling but it's almost impossible to get any information, it is all so varied ?

My only constructive criticism would be I get vertigo 🤢 cuz you whip your camera around so fast. Slow er down a tickle. Also bring back the F100 shirt & stickers. 🍻

I’d do the same color as the valve covers or the suspension with black mounts it would leave nice contrast without being too loud of a color change, trucks lookin amazing man I’ve watched this channel for years and it’s amazing to see how much the projects and yourself have changed, as a bump side fanboy myself yours is definitely one of my favorites,keep it up!!!
