This saw is worth what you pay for it in my opinion, especially if you are the type of person that doesn't mind working on things from time to time. If parts fail, then replace them with higher quality or even original Stihl parts. It is one hell of a powerful saw that will make short work of huge wood.
Speaking from experience bud. Go real slow when ur porting. The cylinders are very brittle and u will find cast imperfections that u may or may not be able to completely get rid of. If u can accept that then u will be ok. Kinda cheap made cylinder castings but they do work

Yeah, those ports are not the prettiest things ever. But notice that the finishers only work on the areas of the ports that will be exposed to the piston and rings. The other side matters -- just not as much. Hey -- it's a Chinese chainsaw. As long as you don't look at it too closely it'll do just fine.
It sure looks like porting the cylinder would increase its power. if you increase tne compression I would also go to Aviation fuel from your l local airport.
those ports look damn ugly, they need a cleanup asap! is there a piece missing ? or wrong casting perhaps.....im suprised it got 15 tanks trough it without breaking.
Appreciate the video bud. I got the same saw ($260.00) and very pleased with it. Not sure why so many feel the need to bash on it.
Thanks for that vid, its very detailed and simple. And its actually not that bad of a saw for being a cheap clone. Its got some good quality parts

I'm subscribed after watching. Thanks for a look at this saw.
Would be nice talking about the difference of the parts as apose to the original ms660
cheaper materials and not so good build quality i guess
I was wondering when he was gonna take the muffler off
awesome vid.
Did the saw come with 56mm cylinder? Thanks

It may have the same basic shape of a husky but as soon as the first cover came off I could see that's where it ends. Thanks for the video

Wha happened to the audio?
casting on cylinder head and lower connecting rod look bad. scoured cylinder and piston already? sticking to husqvarna.

While you got it broke down put a meteor kit on it and replace the rotor and enjoy it. It's more fun to build them but hey not for everyone.

It is funny how many people I see on youtube with the ridgid power tools.
Get what you pay for. That cylinder looked pretty terrible especially the transfer ports.
So no talking or narration?
What an ugly engine block casting, and trimmed up with a dull beaver it looks like.
