Nice, thanks! How would you do it if, in your Sales Column, you wanted to show Total for every Sales Person except Maria? Field Settings we are changing to None, Custom or Automatic are on one Column, not the individuals. Can we do it for Individuals? Thanks
Very good tips Chandoo, thank you. Is there a way to hide pivot table without affecting the information in a dynamic graph using the pivot table as data source? Thanks
You are welcome. You can have all the pivot tables in one sheet and make necessary pivot charts. Then move (cut and paste) the charts to another sheet. Finally hide the first worksheet and you will have dynamic graphs without all the clutter.
In your timestamp 7:11 , Field Settings > Subtotals & Filters > Custom > Average , what does it means in the row of subtotals as I couldn’t get those average numbers as yours . Thanks .
@@chandoo_ I am not able to see the excel file in which you work I got only final file .So to practice I didn't get the same exel file. Please check and update once again..
I didn't know that technique of moving the Values element above the dimension field. Thanks!

How value filed can shown in column field?
How did you group them??
Excel will automatically group them based on the layout of pivot you select.
