    Jaxy Beard revealed in a recent Hunting Lodge broadcast that what we thought we knew about HM is inaccurate. It appears animals do not necessarily respawn at the original need zone and they travel more than we might have thought, along with other misconceptions. I'm predominantly a "casual hunter," but use HM at times only on Te Awaroa. I mostly enjoy walking around or tracking, followed closely by ambushing need zones (my play style is more similar to Hunter DD33 than Lady Legend, but I've learned tons from both). Also I've been playing since Medved was released and I rarely change the time of day (I hunt day and night and have adjusted game time less than 10 times) even after all these years playing. I have 22 diamonds (23 if you count the non-vital organ shot I made on one) and zero Great Ones. (By the way, I've killed more diamonds at night than in the day time, for whatever reason). I also have 19 rare furs. So, obviously I'm not a power player. But for a 77 year old retiree like myself, this game is perfectly balanced: relaxing (I've napped more than once sitting in a tree stand or tripod), challenging, stunningly beautiful at times (mountain views and sunsets), thrilling, scary (R...O...A...R), and, yes, frustrating. For my $$ the new changes have only enhanced the game. In my opinion (and it's only an opinion), the new changes have made the game even more competitive with Way of the Hunter. I sincerely appreciate the relationship between the developers and the COTW hunting community. And although I'm not an avid HM guy, I'm hoping you or someone comes up with a new HM guide that takes into account the current changes and AI. I would also appreciate a great guide on night hunting, which based on my experience, is quite different than hunting during day hours. Thanks, @JBizHunts, for the informative and helpful videos, as well as your balanced approach to the game.

      @@douglasparrish6651 I really appreciate this comment! I have so many ideas for informative videos (that I find interesting others may not). I agree with Jaxxybeard on HM… I think I know how it works and that’s one of my ideas is to make a HM video that just discusses my theories on how I truly think it works. I work with numbers for my day job and video games are just 1’s and 0’s, so HM intrigues me from a numbers perspective. However, I love dd33 hunting style and I’m currently filling out my lodge with those style hunts as scene in my 10 trophies in 6 minute vignettes. I do have a neat video about how many initial trophies are on your map and a how to find diamonds and rares video. I like the idea of a night time hunting tips as a long of cool trophies drink at night like Javan rusa, pigs, small predators and the likes. Other video ideas I have are rating not ranking each map. I have a points based system for an unbiased review for anyone wanting to purchase any of the maps… my big one I’m trying to put out is my lodge tour which will be a larger video 30-45 minutes but my community should see the work I’ve put in and why they can trust my channel and strategies.

      @@JBizHunts Appreciate the response and looking forward to your future vids. I like your idea of rating the maps. Thanks for considering my idea. By the way, I haven't kept track exactly, but I've probably killed just as many diamonds and high golds at night as in the day time. I'd also appreciate your input if you believe animals spook less from sight/vision at night than in the day time. It might be my imagination, but I think I can get closer, even before crawling, at night. Peace, brother.

      @JBizHunts  Месяц назад

      @@Wwispart I agree! ☝️ that’s what I tell my wife all the time. How calming the game is. Honestly my favourite part of the game is the spot and stalk and trying to find different rares/diamonds for my lodge. I do grinding on the side when I just want “brainless” activity or have only a short window to play to just blast animals since spot and stalk take up more time.

    Hello, I had a question about stacking. The first will be if stacking works between two zones in general, as I want to have many good whitetails in one zone. Another would be if after killing the low-level animal and returning to the main menu would the carcass of the animal still be there to pick up or will the respawn just happen

    • @JBizHunts
      @JBizHunts  Месяц назад

      @@whytho6954 great questions: yes, you can stack in two zones only if you want. I have a “short” that shows I stacked 6 whitetail diamonds in one zone. Only issue with that is when you begin your final stages of herd management it is almost impossible to shoot 6 deers in one zone on one rotation. Also the new update has changed how respawns work and you actually need to spend more time on the map to wait for respawns to occur, so spreading out the number of zones that you are rotating on from the recommended 8-10 to the max 16 zones would be my suggest. Yes, main menu would cause a respawn, it’s not recommended to do this as it’s called “dirty grinding” and has the possibility to slow respawns etc. I only do this if I intend to have two animals swap zones as there’s a 50/50 chance they do if you do this with two animals dead on the map.

    Am I able to shoot a doe and a buck and not harvest them making them have a 50 50 chance to switch places?

    • @JBizHunts
      @JBizHunts  Месяц назад

      @@beaur2552you should never shoot a doe on a grind. They tend to respawn differently and may start their own herd. I’ve accidentally shot a few and accidentally found her new herd with some big bucks not in my rotation. Avoid that at all costs. However, it works for bears because they are solo zones, and it works with a solo male swapping with a herd male since a male will always respawn as a male. Herds have a set matrix like 2 male and 3 female, it’s like they have 2 round holes and 3 square holes and only the right piece can fit or swap.
