I love these videos 😁 and as you know, Allen would 100% agree that cleaning the system is the most important part of a new boiler installation.
The system water is the blood of the heating system and if it is not clean it will make the system inefficient and reduce the life of the boiler. Once that is perfect, along with all the other parts necessary to protect, it will ensure the boiler works as efficiently as possible. Yes, protecting the condensate is very important, and part of a perfect heating installation. Well done Allen and the guys who did a great job, I'm sure they learnt loads!

Im asking because I’m interested in doing a gas course but I’m worried that I won’t be having a job in a few years and my course will go to waste.

Hi, I know this is quite an old video but wondered if someone could help me with a question I have.
I am having my system boiler replaced soon, my old boiler is on its knees and the boiler being installed is a Greenstar Ri. Ive been told by BG that its a straight swap as my central heating and megaflow tank all work fine. I know they will be flushing the system and we are having a scale filter installed also as I live in a hard water area. My main question is, will the engineer have to drain each of my 6 radiators individually or can he drain them all from 1 area?
    Thank you.

      Allen Hart
Thank you Allen if it’s not too much trouble a nice video on fault finding /diagnosing faults and especially on how to test thermistors, it’s quite disappointing and shocking at how many boilers are written off these days on such basic faults in my area, which is the south coast of England
