I now have the complete roll player game. Base game plus two extensions. You gave me an idea for the cardboard gold coins. I got some plastic gold coins at a party store to use in their place. I am looking around for some extra pieces in red to use with the xp cubes instead of the cardboard -1 tokens. I think it makes the game even more fun.
Yes, Location -> Obstacles -> Attack. Knowing the rules is one thing but grabbing the right card when you are filming is another lol. Thanks for pointing that out!
Nice video but you missed one important rule change when playing with the expansion Monster and Minions. Creating the market - Page 4 Expansion rulebook When creating the Market, lay out a number of cards equal to the number of players plus two (4/5/6/7 cards for 2/3/4/5 players, respectively). There is one additional card in the Market in comparison to the Market in the base game. Cleanup Phase - Page 5 Expansion rulebook The Cleanup Phase is the same as in the base game, with one exception. During the Cleanup Phase, the Start Player reveals new Market cards equal to the number of players plus two, instead of plus one (4/5/6/7 Market cards for 2/3/4/5 players, respectively).
Ah good catch! That explains why we didn't see level 2 cards until round 8 lol. Although with 5 cards the game would have taken even longer to shoot and harder to edit.
i think for skill Sleight of Hand you dont get gold when you finish attribute row. Sleight of Hand: When a die is moved as a result of using Sleight of Hand, it does not trigger the Attribute Action on in the new location, and Gold is not awarded to the player if the die is moved to the final space of an ATtribute Row. After this Skill card is used, close any open spaces by sliding all dice to the left. From Boardgamegeek forum.
I have roll player. Monster minion is ordered and on its way. Question: since this game is an extension of roll player, can the cards be mixed together from both games and can I use a character from roll player and use it in monster minion? Or does monster minion played as a separate game?
