This Mavs squad looks deep now. They don't even have Exum back yet. The team is loaded with shooters and athletic slashers. The team got bigger, its younger, and more athletic. I don't know if they can salvage this season but they might be VERY good next season.
What do you mean salvage the season? You make it sound like they are fighting to get in the playoff picture when they are one game away from the 5th seed.
@@williamroper5422 I mean the vast majority of all championships are won by #1 and #2 seeds, once you get to seed #3 its down to about a 12% chance. 97% of ALL championships are won by a #1, 2, or 3 seed. So yea, salvaging the season means getting at least up to a #3 seed but even then the odds are still really low of winning it all. Its a hard thing to come to terms with that basically 85% of all championships over the last 77 years go to a #1, or a #2, everyone else is pretty much screwed.
@@williamroper5422 To give you an idea of how low the odds are, 4th seeds have won 1 championship in the last 77 years, 5th seed, 0 championships, 6th seed, 1 championship, 7th and 8th seed, 0 championships. Sooooo, yea, salvaging the season would be maybe getting all the way up to #3, but like I said, even then its only 8 championships in 77 years. All the rings go to #1 and #2.

I would shocked if Wemby doesn’t suffer a serious injury at some point. He looks like he might snap.
Lower leg injuries is the kiss of death for a player that tall. That's always been the rub so to speak with guys that tall. If he ever injures his calf, achilles, ankle, etc., its probably a wrap.
Funny enough he knows this and theres at least 30 videos on youtube about Wemby and him doing his stretches so that he doesn’t fracture and injure any joints and pull any muscles
