Also, I'm pretty sure danny's mistake was that he forgot to switch his sound preset for the next song on his electronic mandala drums.

THIS. prices 4 toronto shows are like 900 $ the only cope i have is the setlist just average so I pretend whatever, but Im pissed cuz they ALWAYS play some killer shows in Toronto

$230 for the 1st denver show but it was worth it as it was my first time seeing Tool live. Best light show I've ever seen too!
Don't know where you are, but last time I checked, Chicago United Center Nov 3rd still had tix. Got 2 for $110 each. Find a cheap flight, cheap hotel, you could still get in under $450. Hope to see you there, kids! 🤘

I expected more new at this show. Absolutely LOVE the new set. The overhead reflection thing for 10000 days was cool but the curtain? Amazing. Thank you for this recording, this was my birthday present to myself so having this is nice.
I was there both nights. Here's a toast to all who passed away in the 13 years before Fear Inoculum. Hopefully you still got to watch! Best show ever.

I came to this video looking for the same song. :(
That will be hard to pull off live, as there are multiple guitar overlays. Unless Adam can rework it/has the best loop pedal in the history of the world, I don’t see it happening. I’m sure he could figure it out though.

They've been playing the same exact setlist this whole tour. I think it's a real shame, they have so many songs in their catalog they're ignoring, they could play different sets everynight if they wanted to...

Tom Reynolds no they haven’t. It’s been very similar, because that’s how tours work when you’re promoting a new album, but they’ve played something different every night.
@@Dustomatic that's not true at all though, the only difference has been swapping out part of me for intolerance some nights. Aftershock was shorter cause festival set etc, other than that every show has been the exact same set list. Really a shame, however I'm glad I didn't follow them for three nights as planned and just hit up one. Hopefully next us leg of the tour touches on a different setlist.

Tool are protectionist, and I'm sure they rehearsed their set lists a hundred times. They can't rehearse their entire catalog. And if you've seen the show you know the lights are timed with the music. Imagine if they changed songs every night.

@@picajoool yeah he's flat here, could be he's still adjusting to sing these new songs live, it's a different environment with a lot of factors that need to be accounted for, but in general he does great IMO.

I know. It sounds like he trying to reserve.. And some of it sounds like nerves. But the band side was killing it that night. They were tight af, I could feel the trance the were putting each other in, cuz it worked on my end too.
The dude is pushing 60 and has spent the last 3 decades screaming his head off and performing in 3 different bands....I'd say it's understandable. I'm 40 and my voice has deepened considerably already. I can't imagine what I'll sound like at 60.
Come back to Alaska! It’s been almost 20 years! I’ll go again and be just as rowdy. Oh, and we can roll: BJJ purple belt and am affiliated with an awesome school. (I’m 48 and beat up, so don’t sweat it).
