Love the video. As a girl wanting a jeep this video just gave me a much needed confidence boost. Definitely something I want to do in the future. Thanks so much!
western rezu I'm so glad to hear that!!! Exactly why TrailRecon asked me to do a video. If you leave around San Diego wheel with us, if you don't just find a great group of people to wheel and you'll be thankful you got a Jeep!
Amy Volmer My wife is running stock right now. I am heading out east real soon here in texas as far as the road takes us. I have my kids so. I am going simple stock for now.
Very nice rig you have there Amy! Each upgrade thought out and fully functional as well! Best of luck on that upcoming long trail! Thank you once again Brad for sharing another walk around!
Very nice jeep Amy . I like it a lot. Its great that your kids enjoy the offroad experience with you. Brad great video again brother. Keep up the great work !!!
Love the style of the video's and Amy, your Jeep is BAD A$$! I just bought a white 2 door Sport, If it turns out even close to the cool factor yours is I will be thrilled! Again, very nice job girl!
OVRLNDX thank you! Hopefully we see more teenagers Jeepin! I wasn't raised in front of TV's and video games but seems like that's all teens want to do now and days. Jeeping has excitement and responsibilities outside not sitting on the couch. I hope we see more kids out there!
Amy Volmer Definitely with you on this! Specially that doing this activities you can see places that you wouldn't know existed and that kind of fires up the interest on Jeeping even more which brings other opportunities to learn stuff like driving better, mechanics etc. Congratulations you are doing it correctly!! And again your Jeep is awesome!
Craig Willcutt SDJC is the best group of people to wheel with! They've become an addition to our family....or I guess we became additions to their family. 😊
I came here hopping this was the same year and model as mine 😜 2007 jeep wrangler x only this one came with D44 and D30 4.10 gear ratio, 6 speed manual and I love it.
rubicon!! awesome!...great video again! my dream to do the rubicon! I would love to live out there with you guys and join up with the SDJC! Looks so much fun! I'm from the east coast and visited the west coast last summer and want to move out there so BAD!! I hate the fact I can only watch these online.
jim mcconnell one of our Jeep Club members and his family moved to the east coast.... I wouldn't be surprised if we make our way out there. Keep on Trail Recon Brad is the man that will let it out if we -when we go
Amy and Brad I really enjoyed this vehicle vidio for a few reasons. 1) I'VE got to work with some of the MOST CONFIDENT WOMEN WHO were Leo's and often they are were as confident and at times would prefer a woman partner because they used their brains rather then Braun. Well Amy's got the Brains and her Jeep certainly gives her the Braun and excels in that Dept. I love the upgrades. Safe and enjoyable wheeling on those trails. Great and informative site.
Nice rig. I love my tuffy box in them back. It make you feel more peace of mind when the top is down. Just curious on the mileage she has on the 07 motor? I also like the idea of the ignition security. Great video. Always great info.
Just watched your awesome video Brad with Amy. My question would be, what kind of A-frame pillar flood light mount is Amy using (or to Amy if you're seeing this). I have a 2 dr Rubicon 10th Anniversary 2013, and every A-frame mount I have looked at (except yours from the video only that is), or bought don't seem to fit with my Kargo Master 50342 Congo Sport Rack for 07-18 Jeep I have installed. Any help would be most appreciated. Or I may have to modify where I am going to mount my 4 in floods. Thanks in advance.
Yes, when I have both kids with me, I use the Tuffy back seat enclosure for the 2 door JK. www.tuffyproducts.com/p-447-tuffy-2007-2010-jk-security-tailgate-enclosure.aspx
One of my favorite Jeeps in SDJC if not my favorite. Once again, love those doors!!! Rubicon Trail (lots of envy 😉). Another great video Brad. BTW, didn't hear what you regeared to?
I like that setup, working on mine slowly but it's getting there. What was that ignition device? Really like the built in security. Peace of mind for jeeps that aren't always garaged. Might need to tag along when the heat drops off for the groups next few Salton Sea runs.
cmb scx10 I'm thinking roll cage should be soon. Great idea! Kids and I live in the desert average temp in the summer 120 degrees.... Pedyalite is a must. 😊
WOW !!! and i thought i had a bad ass 2 door jeep.....nice amy !!!! P.S. you guys make me jealous cuz i grew up in San Diego....living in texas now....dang_it
I am very impressed with your Jeep Amy! As a new owner of a stock 2 dr Jeep, I am very inspired with the modifications you made. I understand you have a 2.5" lift kit, but I didn't catch the wheel and tire size you chose. Can you comment?
tannerrrr54 I was told only the first few hundred Jk's were 30's in front and 35's in the back similar to the 2006. When I went to regear they said my Jeep was a White Unicorn ...heard of but never seen! Haha
I am one of the "unfortunates" who ended up with a first run 2007 JK with the 35 rear. Found out when I cracked a spider gear, took a while to locate a replacement rear end. It is next on the upgrade list.
A few more items on the JK to knock out and then I'll be steeling the keys from the boys and getting some work done on the XJ.... so many projects, so little time!
What a badass rig, beautiful woman and the coolest Mom! I'm speechless...
What a cool gal - loved her giggles, a nice Jeep & a good job of editing.
Chaplain Bill Thank You!!
Amy is the best! Thank you!
Love the video. As a girl wanting a jeep this video just gave me a much needed confidence boost. Definitely something I want to do in the future. Thanks so much!

I had a blast filming this with you Brad!! You make me look so short though!?!?!?
was adding your k&n air filter worth it? did you notice any gains in power or MPG?
Pedialite might be good for you, but man does it taste horrible. LOL
Big ole titties dayum
Starpower44 ' true 🤪

OVRLNDX thank you! Hopefully we see more teenagers Jeepin! I wasn't raised in front of TV's and video games but seems like that's all teens want to do now and days. Jeeping has excitement and responsibilities outside not sitting on the couch. I hope we see more kids out there!

I came here hopping this was the same year and model as mine 😜 2007 jeep wrangler x only this one came with D44 and D30 4.10 gear ratio, 6 speed manual and I love it.
I wish I could convert my family like this...

Scott's Jeep Adventures DISTRACTION HAS ABOUT 115,000 MILES
Awesome Build. The fenders, are they poison spyder "Standard" with? Was looking into ordering a set.
Just watched your awesome video Brad with Amy. My question would be, what kind of A-frame pillar flood light mount is Amy using (or to Amy if you're seeing this). Amazing Jeep, where can I get a list if the mods? I need to replicate this set up
m1chelangel01 some are listed with links to amazon in the video description.

Thank you Amy, I see that now. Just one more thing, please share the specs for your lift and suspension set up
Such a cool jeep
ironturtle37 thank you!
Sweet rig!! But what about favorite upgrade and next upgrade?
Favorite upgrade would have to be the doors and next upgrade hopefully new and bigger gas tank ~
Nah... pass that Jeep to the pit crew and start on your next adventure...upgrading a 4-door Rubicon!
@trailrecon what is the name of that ignition safety device thing. Thank U
www.ravelco.com
What was the anti-theft device mentioned during the cab discussion?
www.ravelco.com/
How do both of the pitcrew fit with only 2 seats
She said she puts the seat back there when both ride.
Yes, when I have both kids with me, I use the Tuffy back seat enclosure for the 2 door JK. www.tuffyproducts.com/p-447-tuffy-2007-2010-jk-security-tailgate-enclosure.aspx
Hey, what front and rear camera system is this?
Austin Sigrist Esky
Austin Sigrist - They talked about it in the video
I use Esky cameras
Thank you!!
Question. Why swap in Dana 44s vs just purchasing a Rubicon model? Seems like that money could have gone to something else
Because stock rubi axles are weak
One of my favorite Jeeps in SDJC if not my favorite. Once again, love those doors!!! Rubicon Trail (lots of envy 😉). Another great video Brad. BTW, didn't hear what you regeared to?
Angel Berrios thank you!! I regeared to 488
great looking rig. glad to see she keeps up with the boys
The Bearded Jeeper - you have no idea! She handles herself pretty well out there! Btw thanks!
What size lift and tires
35's 17 and at the time of the video 2.5 To k Krawler lift. Now, I have a 4 inch Rock Krawler lift
I like that setup, working on mine slowly but it's getting there. What was that ignition device? Really like the built in security. Peace of mind for jeeps that aren't always garaged. Might need to tag along when the heat drops off for the groups next few Salton Sea runs.

What is the name for the ignition security thing ?
Ravelco
TrailRecon thanks Man
Awesome Jerp and great to see it's a family thing. Pedialyte is great for the trails. All those upgrades but no roll cage upgrade or replacement?
cmb scx10 I'm thinking roll cage should be soon. Great idea! Kids and I live in the desert average temp in the summer 120 degrees.... Pedyalite is a must. 😊
What’s the link to that device so someone don’t steal your Jeep???
defnately upgraded headlights!! bmp
trevor ensrud stock and the Jeeps are JwSpeaker 😉

Does anyone know how big that star is on her hood? I would love to get one for mine!
I ordered mine from Quadratec. In the magazines they're towards the end.
What fenders do they have?
kool Jeep...love love
I am very impressed with your Jeep Amy! As a new owner of a stock 2 dr Jeep, I am very inspired with the modifications you made. I understand you have a 2.5" lift kit, but I didn't catch the wheel and tire size you chose. Can you comment?
Amy is running 17" rims and they are 35" tires. Cheers!
Stocker Red!
Hahahaha! Haven't heard that for a while!
Your jeep has come such a long way! We need to get out there with you guys again!
Lando Thank You for all your help!! Yes, we need to get together again!!
I’ve seen her around in the valley…
Wht size tires and wheels
35's and 17"
I wasn't aware that any JK ever came with a Dana 35 rear end.
tannerrrr54 I was told only the first few hundred Jk's were 30's in front and 35's in the back similar to the 2006. When I went to regear they said my Jeep was a White Unicorn ...heard of but never seen! Haha

Wow I had no idea. That's interesting and very odd
tannerrrr54. Crazy! And of course I would have that one. 😂
It surprised me :-) This is my first Jeep, and I have learned a lot since then, it is kind of neat having a unicorn.
Project xj?!?!?!
Grayson Gurksnis TrailRecon is always working on project Xj.... I'm sure we'll be seeing more of it soon
A few more items on the JK to knock out and then I'll be steeling the keys from the boys and getting some work done on the XJ.... so many projects, so little time!
The knights name should be ethridge
